I'm a curious person and I love to try anything new (barring things that would kill me like scuba diving). I enjoy discovering foods, activities, and places I wouldn't normally encounter which has led me to find out that I like things such as Ethiopian food, Woody Allen movies, and paintball. I like to find out how things work and if there is a DIY route to fix something I'll take it, which has sometimes resulted in unfortunate events including the frying of a phone battery.

I moved to Kansas City a year ago for work and I'm enjoying both my job and the city - I've never lived in a major metro before and I love it; there's so much to do!

I'm pretty content with my life right now and have no shortage of activities to keep me busy, but I'm always ready for anything new life throws my way.

I'm good at most anything involving computers - I build them and have run wires through my residences where most people would not run wires.

I'm good (wouldn't go so far as to say really good) at running as well. I really like running 5k races and hope to work up to a marathon some day.

I have a lot of hair and on occasion have been asked for permission to touch it. I still haven't figured out if this is good or bad.

I'm a big fan of comedies like Spaceballs, Airplane, and The Naked Gun as well as crime movies including The Departed, Pulp Fiction, Layer Cake, Miller's Crossing, Road to Perdition, and A History of Violence. It's always fun to watch a really bad D-list or campy horror movie as well. I'm also the only person I know who thinks The Good Shepherd is a good movie.

TV - comedies like Futurama, The Daily Show, The Mighty Boosh, It's Always Sunny, and How I Met Your Mother. I enjoy sci-fi shows like Firefly and Stargate as well. I'll watch the occasional documentary on PBS too if it looks good.

I really appreciate music and listen to it everywhere. I like anything with an electric guitar, though I don't mind listening to other styles as well. While I don't really look it, my favorite stuff is punk - Bad Religion, Green Day, The Bouncing Souls, The Offspring, Millencolin, The Clash, Descendents, and Social Distortion to name some.

I don't read nearly as much as I should, but when I do I it's usually fantasy, mystery, philosophy, or history. I'm reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy currently.

I'm usually out doing something with friends - everything from finding a new event/place in the city or going out for drinks to bowling or watching a movie on someone's couch.
