My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi. I'm Coty.

I just moved to the area and I am hoping to meet some new people.

I just started collecting records. I think I am a hipster. I have come to this conclusion while staring at my typewriter, a pile of vintage cameras and my records.

I am a journalist. I love meeting new people. It's one of the best things about being a journalist.

Most of my journalistc work is on
www. CotyGiannelli.com. Let me know what you think. It's nice to get feedback about my work. Positive or negative.
My Instagram is CotyGiannelli.

I was also in the Army for six years. It helped me see the world and I developed a love for travel because of it. I've been to Germany, England, Italy, Kuwait, France, Iraq, Turkey, Syria and a bunch of other places.

I love corny jokes/puns.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm preparing to move to the area for a job and continue my career as a photojournalist. And trying to be a half-assed vegetarian.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Taking pictures, laughing, traveling and finding new and random adventures.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I try to read when I can. I am currently reading Roadside Picnic. My favorite book is The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury. I also like Poe, Hemingway and Fitzgerald.

I listen to a lot of different kinds of music; pretty much everything but Folk, 80s Rock, 90's Rock are probably my favorites. I love 90s Rock. If I'm not listening to that then I am probably listening to some Indie stuff. My favorite band is probably Brand New. I also enjoy Alkaline Trio, The Smiths, Old 97s, Taking Back Sunday and Matt and Kim just to name a few. Oh. I just got Father John Misty's new vinyl so I have been listening to that a lot lately.

I watch a lot of movies...maybe too many. If I had to name a few of my favorites I would have to say... The Goods, Step-Brothers and Grosse Point Blank, High Fidelity, Closer, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Iron Man, Avengers and 500 Days of Summer.

The Walking Dead, The Blacklist, Grimm, The Strain, and whatever else I can find on Netflix and Hulu.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My cameras, a note pad, some source of music, my car, a good beer and the Internet, sadly.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What adventure is next? Composing photos in my head.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Who knows. Out for drinks or working? I watch a lot of Netflix, but who doesn't?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My friend wrote most of this because, apparently, I am bad at describing myself.
