Shallow, shallow, shallow

May 13, 2008

Have you ever looked around at other people only to realize you are sitting in a crowded room and you just might be the only one in the room with even half a brain? Unfortunately I seem to be noticing it is getting ever so more frequent these days. I'm a people watcher with a keen eye for detail so I see these things.

I feel that it is an honor to live in a country where I am free to do anything I chose, so I chose to do things that are productive to society, my family, and my own well being. But when I look around I see people on street corners who are clearly capable of working (at least at a fast food joint) yet they stand there and beg. Don't get me wrong I know there are people in real need but most of those guys (and girls) out there are total dirt bags. I mean did their parents not raise them to EARN what they need to live??? As a parent I teach my children to work hard and respect what they have... why oh why don't all parents do that?

That is my random rant for the day... take it or leave it.

Shallow, shallow, shallow
It is a liability of freedom that people can choose not to teach their children not to be MORE-ONs.

Sure, clearly none of them have been trying whatsoever and street decor is the most appealing option.
