I have been studying Japanese for the past two years; I would love to move there for a year to teach English as well as to really immerse myself in the language and culture, but the thought of moving so far away is somewhat intimidating. Perhaps I'll start with a vacation...
Recently I've been learning bachata and kizomba, and I've been having a lot of fun doing so. (It's less fun when my toes are being stepped on). Update: I am attempting to learn tribal belly dance. I have never felt so uncoordinated in my life.
I attend yoga classes regularly at my gym; while unable to pretzel myself to any impressive degree, I really enjoy my practice. The first time my friend drug me to a class, I thought the meditation portion was ridiculous. Now I look forward to my sessions and the feeling of relaxation I take away. I would practice at home as well, but I've learned through experience that my cat views yoga poses as a sign of weakness, and will attack without mercy.
I guess I should add my pointy vampire teeth to the list. Yes they are natural, no I am not a real vampire. I should look on the positive side; at least my Halloween costume is already taken care of.
Movies: The Princess Bride; Lucky Number Slevin; Holiday Inn; Zombieland; The Boondock Saints; Der Krieger und die Kaiserin
TV Shows: Psych; The Office; Frasier; and almost any show involving forensics; Iljamae; Big Bang Theory; Community; Supernatural
Music: I really love all kinds of music. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Reggaeton (Don Omar and Daddy Yankee) and dance electronica, but I also enjoy Alternative, Rock, Metal, Pop, Classical, and Country. It would be awesome if you've heard of Crossfade, because they are one of my favorite bands!
Food: I love Japanese food! I visit the sushi place near my work so often, the sushi chefs and I are on a first name basis. I will eat pretty much anything with avocado, because avocado is amazing!
2. Cheese - self explanatory, I think
4. My smartphone - I really hate that I'm so dependent on it...
5. Video games
6. Cute shoes - I may not wear them all the time, but I have to have them in large quantities. I am a girl, after all.
Update: Princess Zelda remains in captivity as I attempt to power through the Assassin's Creed games. For a gamer who typically muscles through with button mashing and beserker rage, it's challenging to be "stealthy."
You want to know more, or want to tell me something about yourself.
You prefer joking around over deep conversations. I rarely take myself or others seriously.
You have something of more substance to say then, "hey" or a variety of crude suggestions I won't repeat here. For the former, you're not giving me a lot to work with. For the latter....well that's just rude!
