I'm very left wing...if you're racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, hate poor people, are mean to waitstaff, or get teary-eyed when you hear the national anthem then we probably won't get along.

That said, the only way to stay sane while being a lefty (and doing something about it) these days is to have a sense of humor. I'm great at making people laugh and am drawn to people who can crack me up.

I enjoy good food and drink, museums, movies (and "film"), and other things people like.

Mainly, I'm on here in the hopes of meeting people with whom I can go out, have some laughs, and have great sex. You know, the kind where afterwards we're on our backs, dripping sweat, telling each other in between panting breaths that we can't believe it was that good. And then it's just quiet for a while as the air dries our tangled limbs. Those are my favorite moments.

That said, that's not the only thing that matters to me...I like to get to know people, and am open to a relationship if the chemistry is right.

My butt if they're coming up on me from behind. From the front? Actually, I bet the first thing they notice is that I'm a man. I read somewhere that people categorize strangers by gender before anything else.

Books: Marx (capital volume 1), James Baldwin (Another Country, Fire Next Time), Bukowski (Factotum, Post Office) but I wish he wasn't such a sexist pig...he does get working shitty jobs, though.

Music: Aretha, Biggie, "Tuesday's Gone", "Paradise City"

Movies: Dr. Strangelove. My favorite Nicolas Cage movie is "Wild At Heart"

Shows: No Reservations, Trailer Park Boys, Peep Show, Mad Men, Parks and Recreation
