My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Grew up in Florida, moved to Columbus Ohio in 2008, and just moved to Minneapolis, MN in Feb 2015. I own 2 cats, that made that long journey up to Ohio with me, making the 16½ hour drive somewhat interesting at points. Perhaps because of old age, they were much better on the 13 hour drive to MN. I work in IT, so yes I am a computer/tech geek. I also like geeky things like sci-fi and the like. I also like non-geeky things like going out for wings and beer, playing pool, throwing darts, bowling, and the like. I also do like to get out on occasion, as you can probably tell from my glacier pic which was taken in Alaska. I tend to be the funny one. I enjoy making others laugh, even at my own expense.

Being that I'm a Florida transplant, I maintain my fandom for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Florida Gators. I'm not jumping ship just because I've moved. :P

I took that LOLCat test and it said I was Longcat.. hilarious since I'm really tall.

I didn't really graduate from Space Camp, but come on, how can you not choose that option?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a network engineer for a consultant engineering firm here.
Very occasionally I have to travel for project work. I also stream video game speedruns and let's plays on Twitch sometimes.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Well, I work in IT so I'm kind of a computer geek, so I tend to be good at video games and computer repair. Outside of that bubble, I also tend to be pretty good at shooting pool and throwing darts. Also am good at making people laugh.

I wouldn't say I'm amazing at it, but I think I hold my own pretty well in the karaoke department. Last time I went I got tons of applause. Also as cliché as it is, I'm really good at my job, and love doing it. So there you go.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height (obviously), my eyes (get told they're pretty a lot), my sense of humor is pretty obvious too.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Not much of a reader, but I did enjoy the Harry Potter series, also enjoyed the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.

Top Gun is my favorite. Probably always will be. The Back to the Future trilogy is up there too. I like actions and comedies most, but also like a good thriller or drama that will make you think. Examples would be things like Princess Bride, Blade Trilogy, Kevin Smith movies, Inception, Ghostbusters movies, etc.

I love NCIS (I get sucked into NCIS marathons very easily), Gotham, Agents of SHIELD, Suits, Tosh.0, South Park, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, CSI, and things like that. I am sad that House is no longer on the air, but it was a great 8 years.

I'm a rock fan. I rarely stray far from some genre of rock music. Not into Country at all, and not really into most rap or pop music. I'll listen to most stuff if someone else wants to, just stick to rock music when it's something I'm listening to for myself. Also a huge fan of cover songs when well done.

I heart bacon. Sometimes I think about how sad it must be to be a vegetarian or vegan and miss out on all the BEOs (Bacon Eating Opportunities) that life affords. I love chicken too. Chicken wings (sometimes there's nothing better than good wings and good beer), BBQ chicken, chicken alfredo.. Now I'm getting hungry.. :( I also love steaks, pizza, burgers, lasagna, and too much more to list.

In regards to bacon..
'Nuff said.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family, friends, my phone, internet, bacon, and my cats
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why like everyone I click on that I feel like I might be interested in ends up being allergic to, or hates, cats. It's like I'm destined to be the crazy cat guy or something.

If steroids are illegal for athletes, shouldn't Photoshop be illegal for models?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Could be out with friends, could be home enjoying a night in. I don't really have a typical Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Maybe once I know you better..

I see what you're trying to do here.. It's not working.. Stop looking at me like that.. Seriously it's weirding me out...

Ok ok fine... I was very disappointed when I found out the Hunger Games had nothing to do with Hungry Hungry Hippos

You want to get to know an honest, loyal guy with a good job and a good head on his shoulders. You enjoy some of the same things I do and have listed on this profile. You think I'm cute. I think I'm cute, so if you do also, why not send a message my way.
