My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am generally self-sufficient, but like the company of others. I consider myself shy, but others often express surprise at that. I often take time to really get to know people.
I enjoy my job, but it means sitting in front of a computer most of the day, so I try to take a walk at lunchtime, even when conditions are cold.
I like to be outside, hiking and camping, and kayaking or canoeing. I try to go on Sierra Club outings for hikes in parks in the area.
I am a sometimes-professional photographer, so when I am outdoors, I am often trying to make a good picture.
Gardening is a relatively new occupation, both in my yard and at a community garden nearby.
My idea of going out is usually going to someplace quiet where I can have a conversation without shouting. I like a good concert on occasion, and I can dance, awkwardly, and am self-conscious about it.
I think I have a good sense of humor, and I like to make people laugh, but it's dry. I'm not a comedian. Humor is an individual thing, and I often find humor in things that others don't notice, or are uncomfortable with.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
all the crap that could go into this profile.
And about the usual things such as money, global warming (or cooling), peace in the Middle East, and where to find real Hawaiian Portuguese sausage. Well, that last one not so much, on which I gave up long ago.
