My Self-Summary
What I'm really looking for and most comfortable with right now is a relationship on the casual side - I don't mean sex. Friends first, hang out a bit, if we click, great! Lately I'm not a fan of rushing into things, it would be nice to take things slow this time.
I am comfortable with myself and my own (sometimes crazy) thoughts, child free, easy going, open minded, honest, a pacifist, uncomfortably shy, a little on the socially awkward side, and introverted. Once you get to know me, though, it's hard to believe I'm such an introvert.
When it comes to the "worlds smallest political quiz" I am more left than Gandhi.
I hate drama and confrontation. Seriously. I avoid it at almost all cost.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm planning to save up, get back to school and on with my life. However, my life does and will NOT include children of my own. Thanks, but I'd much rather have cats, maybe even a dog. I'm perfectly happy with the fact I'm going to be a crazy cat lady one day.
I dream of California. After spending a few months in SoCal about two years ago, I've been homesick for the place. Being one of the nameless strangers wandering the streets of LA sounds heavenly.
Dream jobs would include:
Librarian, writer, editor - I suppose if I plan things just right, I could do all three.
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
...and up-front and honest. Ask me a question and I'll give you a straight-forward and sometimes blunt answer.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Movies: Donnie Darko, Moonstruck, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Knocked Up, Idiocracy, Up, Virgin Suicides, Requiem for a Dream...also a lot of favorites.
I'm open yet picky with music. A few favorites include: Radiohead, Garbage, NIN, Andrew Bird, Nirvana, Ivy, Morcheeba, Portishead, The Beatles, Elvis...
I recently told my room mate that I could live off rice porridge for breakfast, carrot casserole for lunch, and sushi for dinner for the rest of my life. Honestly, though, I always crave sushi. My homemade noodles are pretty amazing, though.
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Also, my life is really an open book. You have a question? I have an honest answer. No tip-toeing around the subject.
You should message me if
You are nerdy (computer-y, [can and do] read, are into gaming, etc).
You have a decent grip on the English language - as in you if you know what spell check is and actually know how to use it. Please know the difference between there, their, and they're - and simply stuff like that.
You're not a drug/alcohol addict.
You are NOT homophobic/racist/general bigot (I'm a pretty big fag hag).
You ARE open, caring, intelligent, and not pushy.
