I am an all day nerdy TV show marathon. A drinking game to that new B movie they released. A procrastinator. I am boardgame & painting nights, theme parties & internet memes. A jaded naturalist. A frequent concertgoer.

I am on the internet too long and too often. This had had many unintended results.... a voracious TV show and movie appetite, an obsession with surreal or dark digital art, and a loathing of contemporary christianity to name a few.

I am a hedonist. Not in the neglectful of others or gluttonous fashion, but in the sense that everything I do should be making me happy. Think of the Calvin and Hobbes Cartoon: I demand Euphoria!

I have a voracious appetite for knowledge - especially when in an anthropological-evolutionary context.

Blame it on The years of Catholic School uniforms, but I love dressing up for things like RenFests and movie premieres. (people were obviously jealous of my viking beard beanie for the hobbit premiere)

I snort when laughing (often at my own terrible humor), I am always ready for adventure, I cuss too much for a lady, i take PuttPutt as serious business, and I live for going to shows and music Festivals.

After a semester hiatus for mental sanity, I am going to school again for an animal behavior major and a double minor in neuroscience and psychology and plan on fiiiinally graduating August 2013. My passion is the scientific study of language and syntax, and how we as humans came about such a gift.

I used to do echolocation/neuroscience research with bats and hope someday to do in-depth language studies with dolphins. I volunteer at a wolf/wolf-dog sanctuary on Saturday mornings whenever possible.

I go to shows at least once a week, forget to eat, watch SOOOOO MUCH TV and movies online, and i used to be heavily involved in a social & environmental justice organization.... but then i became jaded and cynical :P

I switched my major as a senior, and have 2 minors, so I feel like I've been in undergrad forever . Staying in one spot and working a desk job for the rest of my life sounds horrible..... So I switched from Bio to Wildlife studies :) I'll probably end up in a zoo or wildlife sanctuary orrr be a field assistant and do research right out of college and go to Grad school after I've taken a break from school life and saved up a bit.

Ps- i have two cats: Xander and Pantailamon (Pan for short) ...they are way friendlier than your average cat, and are constantly making me question their intelligence. Pan even plays fetch!

my hair.

Although it looks like dreads, my hair is actually naturally curly and all i have to do is twist it 'round my finger after my shower and viola! 'curl-locks' or 'psueo-dreads' - a much cleaner, better smelling, permanent and less fuzzy hairstyle.

note: I truly, truly dislike The Office, Flapjack, Arrested Development, Metalocalypse, Forrest Gump, and Seinfeld. annnd i like Star Trek much more than Star Wars

1- good music (emphasis on the good; i am a tad picky)
2 - transportation - my car was broken/unavailable for most of the last year and I am terrrrrible at asking people for favors
3 - human interaction - i never need alone time... people recharge me :)

5 - blue skies, trees, grass, and sunlight - nature basically
6 - variety - its the spice of life!

if i see colors the same as others, shows i'm going to see, how the world will end, music, my strategy for surviving in a zombie infested/post-apocalyptic world, life after school, where I want to travel to in the future, the evolutionary basis for many human things such as religion, phobias, language, and trying to remember what i dreamt the night previous....

drinking, smoking, and/or watching a movie.... there isn't a lot to do in College Station if there isnt a cool show going down

spontaneous exploration, painting nights, and cooking/baking days are a must in my life. Lets get unsober and experiment in the kitchen!
