My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love learning about cultures around the world, still fantasize about being an astronaut, and find this universe a very curious place.

My ideal partner is equally in love with his life, challenges me because he's constantly challenging himself, is creative, has some kind of spiritual practice, adventurous, funny, probably somewhat nerdy/quirky. I'm interested in someone who takes an active role in fulfilling their deepest wishes. Someone who is smart, strives for life balance, compassionate, adventurous, funny, and finds it easy to have a good time no matter what environment they are in. A traveller, a dancer, a music lover, a creator, a dreamer.

I value maturity, authenticity/honesty, mutual respect, and clear communication in relationships.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I love traveling to foreign lands, filmmaking, bike riding, seeing live music, being a beach bum, hiking, meditating, yoga, cooking and sampling fruit at farmer's markets. I'm running my own business (film/video production) and am passionate about what I do. I make documentaries, experimental films, and music videos. The 9-5 lifestyle is not for me (and never has been). I've always been on the entrepreneur path and love it.

I am both a student of Buddhist meditation and a teacher. I'm primarily interested in exploring the inner landscape through meditation- but, I have explored other healing modalities such as EFT.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

My eyes, hair, smile. Actually, I am not really sure. Why don't you tell me?

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm gonna' be bold and say I could do without everything except the 5 elements (air, water, etc.). We have to leave everything behind anyway- so I try my best not to be attached. But, if you want to know what I love most- it is:

Striving for greatness
Dark Chocolate
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how to make the world a better place. how to help as many people as possible.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'll be out with friends at a restaurant, at a film festival, a rock show, an art opening, or maybe just Netfllixin' it because I need to work the next day. I'm not a big drinker so you most likely won't find me chillin' at a bar.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm an open book. So, I'll tell you a few things. In no particular order of importance:

I dislike wearing socks to bed (no matter how cold the weather)

I dislike standing close to the edge of a Bart/Muni platform. I am cursed by formerly living in NYC and hearing those horror stories of people being pushed onto the tracks by some psycho. What weird about this is that in just about every other aspect of my life I enjoy "living on the edge". :-)

I tend to be attracted to guys who either have (or want to get) tattoos. While I have none right now, I plan to get some in the future. And, no, I'm not referring to a butterfly or a rose.

I dislike mustaches (and most facial hair in general). Yeah, I know that excludes me from being a hipster and I'm totally cool with that.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
One of the following is true:

You made it to the end of this profile (and read all of it)

You love chai tea as much as I do. .

The thought of leading a mediocre life just doesn't appeal to you.

You have fire in your belly.

You want to teach me how to surf.

You like a girl with a short skirt and a long jacket ;)

You are looking for a meaningful relationship that could lead to marriage, kids, and a adventurous life with a passionate co-creator (including travel to foreign lands)

Umm, you feel like online dating is a bit too much pressure. You like live music and want to make a new friend...let's go.

p.s. Please don't msg me with a one-liner like, "how is your week going?" or "you have a nice smile".
