My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've zip-lined through the El Yunque rainforest in Puerto Rico, snorkelled in Jamaica and Huatulco, para-sailed in Acapulco, loved the wild, nude beach in Guadaloupe, listened to a 30 piece steel drum band play classical music on a hilltop in Antigua, had a personal tour of the psychedelic poster room at the Fillmore in San Francisco, attended a Pope's funeral in Vatican City, partied all night in Juan La Pins and at Studio 54 in NYC, swam with stingrays in the Cayman Islands, have seen great artworks, masterpieces and exhibitions at galleries, museums and landmarks around the world, dived into the Blue Grotto in Capri, Italy, skiied great hills in The Laurentians and Vermont, climbed atop the Trevi Fountain in Rome, sailed off Cap D'Antibes, bought artwork at the South Beach Art Deco Festival, hit every beach from Sitges, Spain to Ios, Greece while backpacking through Europe . . . and have way more locales to get to, preferably with someone to share them with . . .

I grew up in Montreal, moved to Toronto when I was 21, have since lived in Beverly Hills, Chelsea, NYC and Southern France, Toronto again, and now I'm back in Montreal after another stint in Beverly Hills.

I travel extensively for work and play, I'm very creative (both business and personal), designing and producing corporate meetings and events. I'm a writer of PR / branding / marketing strategies, incentive and event scenarios, scripts, multimedia shows, speeches, the odd magazine article. . . all the while perfecting the great American novel in my head, and have exhibited my photography and art.

Young-at-heart, extremely close to my 21 yr old daughter, I love music, movies, reading, pop culture, art / museums, theatre, entertaining . . .

To be any more specific, I'd be here for days, but this should give you some idea of my tastes:
BOOKS: Stephen King (just finished 11/22/63), Douglas Coupland, Neil Gaiman, The Drifters (read it before & after backpacking Europe), The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, The Magus, Millenium Trilogy, Shantaram, (Ok, I read 1-2 fiction novels / week - way too many to list here)
MUSIC: I love all types of music (except gangsta rap and country twang)
MOVIES: My 2 all-time faves are The Wizard of Oz and Pulp Fiction, Kramer vs Kramer, To Kill A Mockingbird, Diner, Ferris Beuller's Day Off, City of God, Scarface, Children of Men, The Pope of Greenwich Village, Fight Club, ET, Midnight Cowboy. . . . .
FOOD: I'll eat pretty much anything without tentacles
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Humor (dry)
Great Romance
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
With friends at a restaurant, movie theater, listening to live music or just staying home relaxing . . . depends on my mood / how busy my week was.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

“I guess I just prefer to see the dark side of things. The glass is always half empty. And cracked. And I just cut my lip on it. And chipped a tooth.”

kidding, of course!

. . . it's enough just to be together, even without a word being spoken, with a simple glance every once in a while (looking up at each other at just the exact same time), in-sync, laughter, enchantment, mutual respect. Achieving a common chord. Let's share lazy Sunday mornings listening to Van Morrison, curling up together to read the Sunday NY Times or watch the latest DVD. . . Let's find paradise together, and make each other stars amongst the diverse & interesting people. . .
We are great together, alone and amongst friends. Just short of finishing each other's sentences (that'd be too much), we do get each other, and love to share new experiences (or old ones).

With tongue firmly in cheek, I'm looking for…
Someone who is not crazy & a good kisser. . . Someone who motivates & inspires me. . . You've got the giggles of a girl and the slink of a woman. . . You're confident, independent, thoughtful, genuine & unpretentious, spontaneous, hip & urbane, creative, well-travelled & very cultured, sexy & sensuous, funny w/ a dry wit & an easy laugh who likes to banter, naturally pretty, fit, playful. You're a challenge without being overbearing, but you keep me on my toes, JUST to keep things interesting. You're also happy curled up under a duvet sharing secrets & stories. You're interested in ideas and words and music and creativity. You have a career you enjoy and a family you love and friends you treasure and you STILL have energy and enthusiasm for a relationship. See how wonderful you are? You are amazing to me, and I continuously count my blessings that you've come into my life.
