I have had a rough month. Plenty of things have gone wrong for me, and it would have been easy to retreat into negativity and old bad habits - throwing away my plan of eating and exercise, for one thing - but I have to say I'm very happy with myself and my capacity to rebound. Yes, there have been some godawful moments, but none that I would be embarrassed to present to others. I really believe that I'm finding a way to be positive as I move through this and work on becoming a new person.
I think that once I get a handle on this, I will start to move outward, into social justice...I'm very passionate about helping others, especially the homeless, and this might be a good time to start edging into that as a lifestyle.
