My Self-Summary
I enjoy my life. I love living in San Francisco; can't imagine
living anywhere else (except maybe Italy). My home is one of my
favorite places--it's filled with bright colors, plants, flowers,
books, and good food. I also like being out and about, enjoying the
sunshine, going to a show or a restaurant, getting a drink in a
dive bar, or just people watching.
I'm interested in how business and technology can make the world a better place, both at the individual and the global level. I'd like to start a business, probably something to do with food and sustainability. I'm pondering my options and working on a couple of different business plans. I'm also going to school to learn more about these topics.
I'm genuinely curious about most things, and tend to want to learn everything about a topic if it interests me. I read a lot, ask a lot of questions, and love to travel and explore new places.

What I’m doing with my life
I work a lot--I'm consulting and I'm enrolled in an MBA program.
I'm busy, but I'm learning and moving in a direction I'm happy
with.
The rest of the time I read, swim, do some volunteer projects, cook, hang out with friends, go to shows or other events, explore the city, etc.

books: mostly sci-fi, contemporary fiction, food writing, business
books. the botany of desire, east of eden, the mists of avalon, the
diamond age, a swiftly tilting planet, and neuromancer are some
favorites. i read two or three books a week, so this is definitely
a non-exhaustive list.
movies: I enjoy/admire/love the big lebowski, fog of war, blue velvet, after the wedding, heathers, bladerunner, rushmore, the celebration, brazil, and so many more.
music: classic rock, indie pop, singer songwriters...belle & sebastian, beck, pj harvey, fleetwood mac, joni mitchell, bjork, postal service, fiona apple...
tv: buffy, six feet under, firefly, big love, dexter, trueblood, battlestar galactica, mad men.
food: (my) home cooking with good organic ingredients, some lovely san francisco restaurants--da flora, blue plate, zuni, la ciccia, universal. sushi.
