As a Veterinarian, I have been in many a interesting situations with animals: stuck on a farm in Mid-Wales for lambing season (which has yielded some good blackmail photos), dressed like Ralphie's little brother in a Christmas Story (you MUST know this analogy if we are going to mesh well) along the Iditarod sled-dog race in Alaska, as well as been dressed in full safari attire while entertaining a stadium of people with black bear cubs, llamas, snakes, and alligators (Lookout Jack Hannah!).
After grounding my life back in the United States after living abroad in England for five years, I am now getting the traveling bug again. I am looking to plan some travel to exotic locations in the next year- just need a place and an excuse!
I am a big Yankees fan- always going to games every year and getting the obligatory hot-dog and beer. I basically love most sports (playing and watching- except for curling- must have some standards- lol) and have played both soccer and volleyball competitively. I must admit I have freakishly great hand-eye coordination- wish that trait could be a resume builder. I have recently found running road races to be freeing and something I do quite a bit of lately.
Whether involved in a sporting event, settling in for the evening with a good book, or entertaining with family and friends, you will always find me with a smile on my face and an infectious energy. My family and friends are my foundation and I feel extremely fortunate to have them as a part of my life.
I love guys who can keep me captivated with a story or make me laugh until my stomach hurts. I also am very attracted to those who have a competitive edge with areas of exceptional skill (whether in sport or in work/hobbies). If you have a positive outlook, a good head on your shoulders, a sense of humor and adventure, we will get along great!
