(books) it was Captain Corelli's Mandolin for the longest time. then i read some of his other books and hated them... really.. i'd dissuade any of my friends from reading them too. (movies) The Mission, Brazil, The Incredibles, The Corporation, i'm a sucker for docos. (music) melancholic scandinavian ambient music - sigur ros, mum, stina. and some great kiwi pop music, i've just bought The Killers, some more Starsailor and SJD. bjork, goldenhorse, coldplay, audioslave, the finn brothers... (food) persian, indian, thai, it's all good

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

having dinner with about 30-40 people. our house has an open door dinner on friday night, so we get a few homeless people, and lots of others with various mental health issues. all good fun. it's a shared meal, everyone's expected to bring something or help clean up afterwards.

i have this fear - that one day i'll walk out of the changing rooms at the pools, and everyone will be staring at something - so i spin around to try and see what it is. but i just can't figure it out, so i'm staring back at everyone, completely perplexed. it's because i forgot to put my clothes back on. they're in the bag i'm holding. i mean it's only a slight fear, not some huge nudophobia, it just strikes me as a bit weird that on one side of a wall you can walk around with lots of other naked people (and everyone's trying to act really normal) and then you walk through a doorway and the rules change fast.
