I'm especially interested in finding people to play DnD or Pathfinder with me. I'm almost completely new to it -- I've only sat for a few sessions of DnD with a small inexperienced group -- and I'd like to learn more. Most of the groups I've been able to find by searching online seem pretty experienced and I don't want to be an awkward add-on who tries people's patience.
About myself specifically: I'm artsy, but definitely wouldn't call myself an artist. I like to draw and I also do little craft projects from time to time. I'd like to practice drawing more so I can get decent at character art. I generally enjoy creating things.
I'm also really opinionated and argumentative, though I'm working on being less of a dick about it. I think debates are a nice chance to learn something new, provided both people are on the same intellectual level and aren't just talking past each other.
When I'm hanging out with friends, we usually roam around trying to stay entertained for cheap. There were lots of cool places for that in DC, and I'm looking forward to finding interesting places in Madison, too. Otherwise, my friends and I just watch shitty TV and sketch together, or maybe play Torchlight or MtG (don't think I'm any good at those either -- also still learning). I'm not really into partying and would rather be baking a cake or shopping or something.
