One of my greatest loves is creating wonderful things that I can put out into the world. This is why I went to grad school--to study people and technology so I could figure out how to make things that would really help people have more fun, or be more productive, or even to do things they couldn’t have done before. So I studied at the intersection of psychology, sociology, design, computing, graphics, etc.
My number one love, though, is God! I’m in total awe over his love, generosity, care, and mercy! So I try to be a follower of Jesus, and my beliefs are basically typical protestant, maybe leaning a little towards Calvinist at times.
I like traveling, and have had the chance to see some amazing places, like Russia and France. I got the chance to spend a summer in the UK a couple years ago, which was wonderful. The greatest place I’ve ever seen though was Ireland--the western coast was so surreal.
These days I'm dividing my time between Georgia and NY--which is where I spent the first couple decades of my life before moving South for grad school. I’m still very much a New Yorker at heart; I carry a somewhat subtle Brooklyn accent, and do occasionally talk a bit quickly. :) I'm planning to move to NY permanently in the next few months.
