My self-summary Propose an edit

I really don't like to say much in these things (or better yet, don't know what!). I was born and raised in the area all my life (thumbs DOWN), and am starting nursing school in the fall after a brief stint at a 4-year university, studying business/marketing.

Some of my hobbies include running (am running my first half-marathon in October! :D), cross-stitching, volunteering (most of my volunteer work has been with homeless animals), reading (although between work and school, I haven't had much time to do some "fun" reading), and cooking (Food Network addict!). In my free time, I love going out to eat at new restaurants (I love ethnic food and local places, especially), going to sports events (NBA basketball has been my forte =p), and usually keep things low key. I enjoy going out, but I do like to keep it quieter. Just a night with friends with great food and lots of conversation is fantastic for me. Don't judge me when I do have that one night where I'm absolutely crazy shit-faced drunk and dancing everywhere. DON'T!

I love people and I love living life- I truly think that I could get along with almost anyone. I would also consider myself a very compassionate person- I enjoy taking care of others, and making contributions to society and issues that are important to me, whether it be my time, energy, or money. As a friend, I think they would consider me as a very loyal one.

I would like to meet someone who is passionate about something, doesn't take life too seriously, is constantly looking forward in life, and is aware of the world. You don't have to be funny, but a sense of humor is a necessity. ;D Oh, and likes to eat.

Whooooo knows....Just kidding. (What a terrible and frightening answer that would be). At the moment, trying to become a nurse. Between school and work, I also volunteer with homeless animals in the area.

Um....uh....lots of random and could-be-useful-but-not-really things. Yeah. Really, I have no clue! Oh, I can spy an Asian fetish from a mile away. Cool, I just eliminated half the people that viewed my profile.

Books: The Great Gatsby, On Paradise Drive, She's Come Undone, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Time Traveler's Wife

Movies: Cinema Paradiso, The Breakfast Club, My Sassy Girl (Korean film), any film with Adrien Brody, Roman Holiday, Kill Bill, The Sandlot

TV: I don't watch much TV, but if I do, it's usually Bravo (anything on Bravo, actually), TLC, Travel, Discovery, A&E, and sometimes History

Music: Everything. Classical, electronic, rock, hip-hop. Just not too big into heavy metal or country.

Food: The list of what I don't like is (a lot) shorter: hard-boiled eggs and squid (yes, that includes calamari).

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Keeping it low-key, usually. Either hanging out at a friend's home, going out to dinner, or spending some alone time. I do enjoy "going out" as in bars/clubs, but I also like quiet time to myself. And perhaps I'm a 22-year-old freak of nature, but I don't like to spend Friday nights at college parties and/or playing beer pong. Not my style.
