I love politics and economics, I try to understand how everything fits together and why people believe what they do. I love talking to people about why they believe what they do, and I won't judge you for it (may challenge your premises, but just for the sake of discussion; I may be a libertarian but I've never had politics ruin or even damage a friendship). Don't be scared by the word conservative in my profile, I'm not a Republican and my politics views are not dictated by my religion! I won't reduce you to labels if you agree to do the same for me.
Anyway, I have two awesome dogs and love(d) living in CT (moved to Astoria since, bad username choice) and working remotely! I get to set my own schedule and go with my inspiration instead of
Fun facts about me (I mean this to be ):
-tried out for the football team at quarterback in college (never played formally), got called back (couldn't go, was in Germany); quarterback is what I tried out for, I have a decent arm
-joined marching/pep band senior year of college, learned to play drum set and played in front of 20k ppl at the NCAA tournament
-been in multiple tire factories while I was a consultant (and got a NASCAR tire as a gift from the client)
-I was able to dunk a basketball back in high school (there's a possibility, though certainly not a probability that I could do it again with training)
-I'm an armchair music historian (specializing in the periods 1966-1978 and 1989-2002)
-One of my dogs is a poochon (the other is a toy poodle)
-I can juggle (poorly)
-I read a little German and Portuguese in addition to my very average Spanish
-I'm good at imitating how people walk. Have yet to monetize.
-I believe in gender equality (I love talking about sexuality and gender topics, some people have trouble talking calmly about it, but I want to get to a world where everyone can be who they want to be without infringing on others)
