I am going, going, and gone.

My Self-Summary

Recently (two years ago) moved to Brooklyn by way of London (and Italy before that, back in the diaper days).

Most of what I write ends up being parenthetical to a point (it doesn't get much better than that, best punctuation ever devised).

What I’m doing with my life

Sitting on stoops, making cardboard banjos and making things reality via computers. For a living.

I’m really good at

Doing things in unison with everyone else without meaning to. Small talk (though it's not always welcome - but it's a good skill to have. I'm handy for those who feel that they are awkward). Keeping houseplants that belong to others alive.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm usually kinda scruffy. Or my hair is a mop. Probably the accent as well.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

On my nightstand: Angela Carter

Best movie seen recently: Ponyo

In heavy rotation: The xx

Last thing devoured: Drunken noodles

The six things I could never do without

Gotta be honest - number one would be my visa. I'd be screwed without it. Passport necessarily ties in with that
2 - a cup of earl in the morning
3 - down comforter. I seriously cannot sleep well without one. No, I don't want to talk about it
4 - I'm kind of attached to my kindle right now. Is that douchey to say? If that worries anyone, let it be known that I'm not yet above stocking my shelves with repurposed trees
5 - my subscription to NewScientist. I would assume the fetal position and cry my fucking eyes out without unlimited access to their site
6 - access to open expanses of green. or just open expanses that don't quickly collide with cement.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Painfully average things. Occasionally I'll get a bit inspired and mull over the finer points of mastering expert guitar for 'I Me Mine' on Rock Band.

(I'm mostly kidding)

On a typical Friday night I am

Usually out rabble-rousing.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I once drew blood after biting someone. To be fair, I was 9, and my victim was -seriously- antagonising me. Stitches weren't required.

You should message me if

Ya wanna.
