My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
New to Atlanta and only know a few people. Born and raised in Indiana, but went to school just north of Charlotte.

I don't take things too seriously but am also skeptical of this site and putting too much information out for the world to see. Not because I'm concerned about my privacy, but because it seems a bit impersonal to make a snap judgment based on what someone did/did not write in a few short paragraphs. I'd rather find out through talking with someone about what's important to them and what kind of person they are. And I certainly hope someone would feel that same way about me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Spending time with a few close friends, attempting to work out, watching movies, etc. Just living life.

Always looking for a running partner! And would like to see more of what surrounding areas have to offer. Definitely love having someone along for the adventure.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Swimming - I spent over a decade doing it, so I would hope that time commitment would pay off. I don't do it competitively anymore, but I still make sure to get in some laps every week.

Eating - relates back to the swimming. With that level of exercise you learn how to eat a lot. And now I've incorporated running and other exercise into the mix.

Sure there are things others would think I'm good at, but there are probably that many and more things I'm not so good at. It's all about perspective.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height, and as much as I disagree, some people think I bear some resemblance to Michael Phelps. Even before they find out I used to swim, I get the phelps thing a lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'll watch almost any movie and have seen a fair amount, but don't hardly watch tv at all. You'll be hard pressed to find a movie I'll say no to. So it's hard for me to list any favorites right now.

Books - Ender's Game is my favorite book (even before the movie came out), Born to Run, not ashamed to say I love Harry Potter.

Love all types of food...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My older brother
Tennis shoes
Hate to say it but probably my phone
A job I enjoy
Friends
Some down time once in a while
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life in 50 years. Not just my own life on what I'll be doing, how I got there, and whoever the person I'll be with is, but also what life in general will be like - politics of the time, quality of life, generally the world that future generations will have grown up in and how that differs from my own time.

Or why am I so sleepy...? And what should I have for lunch today?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I enjoy going out from time to time, but it's not often I do it. Would rather just hang out with friends and do something fun/exciting, or stay in and relax by myself. During the week I try to get exercise in after work so Fridays I'm all kinds of ok just doing a movie on a couch or something similar.

I've never needed anyone else to have a good time, but I do think having someone by your side makes everything 100x better. I'm very happy with everything in my life now, but I'm happiest when I'm sharing it with someone else too.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I truly believe that I'll find someone eventually I want to spend the rest of my life with. Doubt it'll be on here, but hey I'm on here and it's worth a try right? I don't go into relationships thinking the person will be that person, but I also don't put an expiration date on anything.

If you want to talk or have something to say. I'm a little reserved at first, but once you get to know me I'm also pretty outgoing.

I've read plenty of girls that say they won't respond if you say "hi" or "what's up", and that goes for me as well. If you message first at least try to reference something in my profile to give me something with substance that I can respond to.
