My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
whoa was my profile in need of updating! OK, here's the low-down- I'm moving to Peru at the end of the summer to help build a shamanic permaculture retreat center/eco-village. I'll be living totally off the grid for a year! And I'm a girl who likes her comfort, so this will be the most challenging undertaking of my life. And I'm so ready for it.
Sooooo, that means I'm probably looking for a casual romance or a new friend to enjoy my last summer in PDX with. I'm looking to share presence, laughter, affection, caring connection and adventure; a Beloved for a season. I'm the type of person who can drop right in to sharing authentic self with the cashier at the grocery store or the person sitting next to me at the coffee shop. Nothing forced; just self awareness, compassion, presence and authenticity.
I'm not interested in a hook-up, one night stand, or friend with benefits, as those types of arrangements are not nurturing to my spirit at this time in my life; I want something much more relational, even if it is casual and short-term. Does that make sense?
Help make my last summer in PDX a swan song to remember.

Nature lover, Music lover, Animal lover; I am learning how to communicate with both plants and animals. I love to dance, cook with love for people, garden, spend time in nature, make ritual and make art. Interested in cultural creativity, healthy living, sustainability, taking care of Mama Earth, creating community, and traditional foodways including fermentation.

Friends say I'm deep, heart-centered, creative, joyful, funny, connected, quirky, enthusiastic, and wise in uncommon ways.

Other words to describe me are: Good communicator, passionate, compassionate, playful; Strong, independent, community-minded, environmentally and socially conscious, capable, yet flexible and able to compromise and co-create; giving, loving, affectionate and caring partner and great cook;
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Making major heart-centered changes! Currently, I am trying to learn how to live more simply, move away from the gross commercialism that pervades our culture and move towards living my authentic values. I'm in the process of selling 90% of my material possessions so that I, my cat and my dog can go volunteer in Peru to help build a consciousness based transformation permaculture eco-village retreat center (that's a mouthful!)
This summer, I hope to spend much more time in nature, explore swimming holes of the area and go camping, at least a few times. Would love to explore some areas of Oregon I haven't visited.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Re-wilding myself; helping animals become balanced and express their highest selves, growing vegetables, making homemade pickles, kimchi and saurkraut (lactofermentation), cooking super healthy food that tastes amazing, self-expression, weaving together disparate ideas, people, etc, nurturing relationships and compassionate communication, dancing from the inside out, and getting stray wild birds out of enclosed spaces with a minimum of fuss (bird whisperer :), dispensing with or stretching the rules for a noble purpose, and not just for the sake of breaking them.
