My Self-Summary
Well, I was told that this place is good for finding people to
meet/hang out with, etc., so here I am. I am originally from South
Carolina, and I am going to K-State for my grad degree in Textiles
for Product design...and I think I will be here for a while.
Although somebody in the department said I might have to get a Ph.D
in something like Electrical Engineering or Computer Science for my
research interests. If you want to talk, just email me, chat, run
around naked outside my apartment, or anything else that will get
my attention.
What I’m doing with my life
Well, right now I am going to grad school in Manhattan, and I hope
to stay here in order to get my Ph.D., so I suppose I will be here
for at least five years. After that I hope to do something along
the lines of either research and/or teaching.
I’m really good at
Hmm...I can eat really well, considering I haven't choked on any
food for as long as I can remember. Oh, and sleeping too...I can
sleep like it is no one's business.
The first things people usually notice about me
Definitely my sense of humor and sarcasm, as I am usually telling
jokes and trying to laugh at everything I see. I like to think of
everything less seriously than most people, as it has saved my
sanity so far.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Hmm...for books, I tend to prefer the classics, and my favorite
author would have to be Alexandre Dumas, considering The Count of
Monte Cristo is the best book I have ever read. Not too much of a
movie person, but I prefer comedies and documentaries over
everything else. Music is probably the greatest creation of
mankind, so I tend to be very opinionated when it comes to the
subject...prefer mostly classic rock (with the Beatles at the top,
as always), progressive, and classic hip-hop (when the music
actually meant something). As for food, I am not that picky of a
person, although I don't like food that is too spicy.

Depends on how I feel...sometimes I want to go out to Aggieville
and watch/partake in the mayhem, other times I am just content
staying inside and relaxing.

Well, you should message me if you can take a joke and have a great
sense of humor, because that is how I am able to connect with most
people.
And please, I don't want to have to deal with anyone with addictions, so if you dip like a baseball player, smoke like a chimney, do drugs like there is no tomorrow, or drink like fish, don't talk to me. Somehow I think you have bigger issues than just trying to find new people if you have to do that kind of thing.
I prefer the learned type...you know, pretentious people who go to upscale coffee shops to drink Freetrade and fight the power. They tend to be more interesting to talk to, and I like listening to people's various opinions on the issues of the day. sarcasm
