My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Positive, outgoing woman. Loves to laugh and have fun. Easy going and free spirited. I have a lot of interests, definitely more interests than time to pursue them. Of course I like all of the usual things - movies, music, hanging with friends, working out, anything outdoors when the weather is nice, cooking, concerts, reading, and traveling. I'm up for just about anything with the right person. My friends would say that I am funny, open-minded, outspoken, loyal, intelligent, and kind.

I grew up in Florida, and I love the beach! I've been here for 19 years though, so I consider Missouri home. I have a 16 year old son and I can't imagine raising him in FL, for a number of reasons. But my parents still live there and we try to visit at least once a year.

I like going to the casino but I'm also careful with my money so I can't go often or tolerate huge losses. I like motorcycles but it's not a dealbreaker if you don't. I haven't dated anyone with a bike in a while. I took my safety course a while ago but never bought a bike. Maybe someday.

I am not religious at all, but its ok if you are. I just wasn't raised with organized religion as my parents are disenchanted Catholics. However I do believe in God and I am very spiritual. I am fascinated by anything metaphysical. I am reading up on the String Theory...fascinating. I believe in the Law of Attraction and that your thoughts create your world, so I don't like to be around negative people. I try to meditate every day, even if its just for a few minutes. I also practice yoga or Qi Gong a few times a week.

I believe that you get what you pay for so I am not real sure about this website. But so far the questions are interesting! One thing baffles me though - having the exact same answer as someone, yet they have said my answer is "unacceptable". If it's ok for you, why is it not ok for me? Are they just careless when hitting the buttons to select their answer?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Paying the bills and raising my son. Stopping to smell the roses as often as I can. Trying to find one great guy who thinks I am great too.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
a lot of different things. I am really good at my job. I am a good listener (my job requires patience and the ability to listen). I am also good at staying calm under pressure (another job requirement...was recently called a calming beacon), procrasinating, cooking, kissing, multitasking. My son tells me I am great at making a sandwich and ironing his shirts. I am also very good at smacking the back of his head. I don't iron.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
There are many material things I absolutely adore, but really, if it came right down to it, I could live without them. What is really important in life is family, friends, love, happiness, gratitude, and freedom.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about my life...things I am grateful for, mistakes I have made, where my life is going and how I am going to get there. I also spend a lot of time thinking about what makes other people tick. I am a people watcher and love hearing other people's stories.

I also spend time wondering why guys use profile pics that are very old. C'mon guys, I've been divorced for 14 years, so I've been on and off these dating sites in between relationships for a while now. I recognize you and that old pic! With the new cell phone cameras, you can take a self portrait without a bathroom mirror these days. Just do it!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It varies...happy hour after work is always a good way to end the week. Sometimes I am just beat and go home and watch a movie. And sometimes I have to be mom's taxi.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

If it's private, I am not willing to admit it!
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you can compose a message that indicates to me that you actually read my profile and perhaps looked at some of my answers to the questions. It doesn't have to be a long one, but you wouldn't believe how many emails I get that just say "Hi", "How are you?" or some other variation of that one liner. I even got this message once: "???" What is that supposed to mean? Just punctuation? What are you questioning?

I am ultimately looking for a LTR , but it's got to start somewhere. I am in no rush to be in a relationship and not one of these needy women to latch on. I am tired of lies and playing games with players. I always have an open mind when I first meet someone. I don't judge guys on other guy's past bad behavior. But there is a reason why employers have a 90 probation period. It doesn't take long for true colors to shine through. If you are full of shit I will figure that out pretty quickly.

One of my few deal breakers is cigarette smoking. They just gross me out, and even if you are a very courteous smoker, I just won't go down that road with you. I can always smell it all over you after you come back inside from a smoke break. If you occasionally have a smoke when you drink, I can live with that. No daily cig smokers though please. E-cigs may be ok, haven't really hung out with anyone who partakes of them.

If you are a bleeding heart liberal I don't think we would be a good match. I firmly support the second amendment. If you are under 40, please don't bother, because I won't reply.
