My self-summary
I really prefer the real world to the virtual. Alas, I'm reduced here to a few words with which to woo. The rest of the profile serves as an effective enough summary.

My mission? Looking for an equal, and giving the virtual realm a chance.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to make a difference on the planet for the sake of humanity because it's challenging and rewarding.

If that was too deep, worry not! Day to day, I'm:
A. Working. At a wonderful company. Awesome job.
B. Biking around Austin, and more generally, staying fit, and always striving for balance.
C. Trying to learn something new every day
D. Making as many good friends as I can
E. Working to improve myself. Discipline isn't easy.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh. Laughing at myself. Enjoying life. Thinking about purpose. Being a nerd. Being happy. Math and science. Cooking delicious vegetarian food (from all types of cuisines).

Oh, as George W would put it, "Strategery". Try me at a strategy game sometime! Also, it should be noted, GWB is NOT my definition of a hero -- in case the sarcasm was lost!!
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm tall. I embrace intelligence and alternative points of view.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Great conversation material; I won't spoil a date by annotating everything, but I'll at least provide you a few bits to gnaw on:

I do read a lot, especially when on vacation. I'm a fan of books that make me think. I appreciate good book recommendations.
Some books I've enjoyed:
Brave New World, Crime and Punishment, Catch-22, The Fountainhead, Anna Karenina, Slaughterhouse 5

I love going out to theaters (specifically the Alamo Drafthouse or the Violet Crown)
Some Movies:
The Gladiator, The Matrix, LoTR, One Flew over A Cuckoo's Nest, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, V for Vendetta, Rear Window, The Godfather,

I seem to go to a concert at least once a week. I'm always up to go listen to a band (as long as it's not death metal, and as long as nobody is screaming into the microphone for minutes on end).
Metric, Chvrches, Geographer, Calvin Harris, Zedd, M83, Armin Van Buren, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Beyonce, Florence + the Machine, Phoenix, Cazzette
The six things I could never do without
0. Learning
1. Friends and Family
2. A sense of purpose
3. Sleep
4. Fun
5. Sunshine
6. Beer

Oh, and also my bicycle. I guess 6 was too limiting...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to make the world a better place. Seriously.

Self Reflection.

I also spend time thinking about what happened to all the smart single gals. Where did they go? They are elusively hard to find!
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on the Friday night. Anything from staying in to cook dinner and watch a movie to torturing my liver at bars with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Is that I'm remarkably easy to get along with. :)

We'll probably hit on something more substantive at some point...
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 19–24
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You end up deciding that you're up for having a good time, and you are ready to bring yourself and your smile along (as I'll be doing the same).
