My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a New Englander who recently moved back to DC from working abroad. I'm enjoying being back, relearning how to cook, and exploring hidden favorite areas (the Mt. Vernon trail and the Roosevelt memorial). When last I lived in DC, I was in grad school, so it's been nice experiencing the city with a bit more free time!

I enjoy sarcasm and puns and spy-based TV shows. I have occasionally been referred to as the Grammar Guru, and am exceptionally fond of the Oxford comma.

I periodically get travel-itchy and have to go somewhere fun - recently I went to Morocco for a week.

I love being outside and exploring and hiking and would really like to try kayaking on the Potomac.

Just started running again and am looking forward to the Army 10-Miler in October.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Meeting new people. Baking. Cooking peanut noodles and eggplant Parmesan. Picnics. Fun! Bar trivia. Learning new languages. Inadvertent dirty jokes.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You tell me! Most commonly I hear that I am super bubbly.

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This is a silly question...
Books! Peanut butter. Laughing. The smell of basil in the summer. My family. Water?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Catching up with friends OR decompressing after a long week with Thai takeout and a book.
