My self-summary Propose an edit

I work with special ed preschoolers and at the local library in the children's department, so any time I can spend with actual adults is awesome. And since many of my coworkers are...how can you say... OLDER...any time spent with people near my one age is even better :).

I'm a pretty creative person and I love to laugh. I read a lot and listen to music.

I don't sit still much...

I am getting into working out. I joined the Y and work out there at least 5 times a week.

I am trying to get into running or really jogging. I need a coach. Want to help?

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I work for a school district and get summers off. SO right now I am chilling and relaxing...

But during the school year I am pretty busy, between work, friends and time with my family. But I'm sure I could squeeze you in if you ask nicely.

Books..hmmm anything except romance novels really. I read some chick lit, and some classics. I love Mark Twain, C.S. Lewis, Tolkein, etc. I've started Anna Karenina (not sure if I spelled it correctly because its not right in front of me) but I need a little refresher on my Russian history before I can finish it.

Movies, I like comedies and chick flicks, I love horror movies if I have someone to watch them with... don't laugh if I cover my face with my hands..its part of my experience...My favorite movie of all time is currently Dream for an Insomniac if you have seen this movie and especially if you like it MESSAGE ME...

Music....well there's a toughy because I'm kind of a music junky. I like blues music, acoustic music... indie stuff, anything but country really... I llike Joss Stone, Jonny Lang, the White Stripes, Rilo Kiley, the Donnas, the list could go on pretty much endlessly here...

Food... I LOVE food. I'm not one of those girls who naturally eats like a bird and I'm not going to pretend to be. I try to eat healthy but thats not going to keep me from the occasional fried food binge :).

Out to dinner with friends, every other Friday I hit Champaign-Urbana with a girl friend (it's her child less weekend) and on the in between Fridays its usually someplace in "Damnedville" for dinner with friends ...

I don't do the bar scene. I only did it occasionaly when I lived in a college town and now.. drunk people and fights just aren't my scene. I liked it when I had a big group of friends who went just to have a few drinks and goof around but I don't have that here really.
