My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi there! I am a recent transplant from the Washington DC area that is here to eat all of your amazing food ( I am looking at you El Farolito and chicken and waffles) , soak in your amazing weather, drink all of your crafty beers.

Even though I've been in the DC area my whole life, I was a bit tired of the 100+ degree spring + summers and always felt attached to the Bay area. I've been coming to this area since I was a kid who marveled at the bushman @ Fishermans wharf for hours. Once I got a bit older I grew a slightly deeper passion for San Francisco beyond its tourist attractions.

I gravitate towards people who are curious about the world and find humor and beauty in the little things in life. Right now I am looking to meet new people who are looking for genuine connections.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in the tech sector with a Deaf Studies degree, which I find hilarious. I used to do community interpreting for the Deaf and moved onto working in tech where I am responsible for keeping my clients happy ( whether they are Deaf or not). So tech but not super techie.

When I clock out, I try not to focus on work and give some attention to my true passions. Right now my focus is on exploring this city, finding good Chinese food and my next bowl of ramen, hole in the wall restaurants, NetFlixing, walking around the city, attending free or cheap events, planning my next trip ( I love to travel on the cheap!), learning something new, and enjoying a mocha tesora at Philz.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Traveling and getting lost in new places
- finding goodness in all of the little things.
- Being able to have a really cheap bar tab (I am half Asian - it comes with the territory)
- Trying new things!
- Sarcastic and dry/bad humor

“Two peanuts were walking down the street. One was a salted.”
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People usually have no idea where I am from or what culture I derive from. Also, I don't take this tech thing too seriously.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Right now my favorite book is "The Disaster Artist" and my Momofoku cook book.

Film is a huge passion of mine - Lost in Translation, Blade Runner, The Road, Mad Max Fury Road, Ex Machina, Gone Girl , Stanley Kubrik, Science Fiction films film, oh any documentary about social issues (Hoop Dreams anybody?)

Shows: Game of Thrones, Mr Robot, Broad City, Sherlock, Halt and Catch Fire, Breaking Bad, House of Cards ( I am from DC....), Cut throat Kitchen, Extras.

Music: David Bowie, The Smiths, Funk music, some classical, Sufjan Stevens, Motown, 60's/ 70's and some modern artist sprinkled in there.

Food: I love every kind of food but standard American food generally bores me. This is except for the modern soul food revolution. I'd like to think I am a Ramen connoisseur. When I was in Japan I ate Ramen literally every single day for 2 weeks straight.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Podcasts ( This American Life, Gimlet Media, Serial, Freakonomics)
Sounds lame but a sense of humor!
Outdoor seating
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Did Adnan do it or what?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am an incredibly honest person who isn't afraid to expand their boundaries.

- You are a down to earth person who reads this and can connect with what I wrote.
-You aren't overly religious (it just wouldn't work)
-You are adventurous and loves to explore without an organized plan.
-You don't necessarily define yourself by your career.
-You don't want to go back and forth sending long, contrived, witty messages to each other but would rather meet up and get a beer... or 2.

- Or you liked Lost in Translation.
