My self-summary
Software Engineer Seeks Electrical Engineer for Robot Building and World Domination

Trying to find someone with a bit more substance to them. I'll try not to harp on the cliche "bar scene" complaint, but please have something better to say than what your favorite animal is when I ask you what you find interesting enough to day dream about....

As for me, my personal (completely unbiased) opinion is that I'm funny, smart, and easygoing.

My interests lie mostly within the realms of geekdom and the outdoors. I get excited about computers, gadgets, and video games. If I enjoy a specific movie or book, 90% of the time it was because it was thought provoking. I love a good meme and spend way too much time on StumbleUpon. I love to go camping or fishing or even to the park to fly a kite. I don’t really watch those survivor man type shows, but I've always wanted to be in a plane crash or stranded on an island to see how long I could survive haha.

I enjoy doing new things and I will try just about anything once. Except heroin. (I hear you have to do it at least twice to get the full effect).

Also, I get a lot of joy out of feeling like a child with adult privileges. I'm a big fan of building forts and leaving the house at 2am to buy popsicles. I swear I really am an adult though; I do have a great job, car, and house and can be sufficiently responsible when necessary. Still, it’s crazy to think that someone entrusted me with an entire building when I still spend a substantial portion of the day battling velociraptors against stegosauruses in my head.

Basically, I am looking for someone that would enjoy waking up on a Saturday morning to drive to the closest beach and build sand castles. I think that whole "the world is your oyster" thing holds a lot of truth. This planet is one giant playground and I want to do all of those things that sound irresponsible but aren't actually harmful.

p.s. I don't do heroin.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a software developer. I tell electrons where to go and then, on a layer a couple levels above that, I get paid money - it's pretty sweet.
I’m really good at
I make the perfect grilled cheese sandwich. It's very serious. There are patents involved.

I will beat you at any type of game we play. Except words with friends. I lost words with friends once.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my blue eyes or my height.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
NPR,, netflix,

My favorite movie is Fight Club and my favorite book is Freakonomics.

I wouldn't mind finding someone to watch the next season of Game of Thrones with. Unfortunately all of my commentary would be based aound "OH EM GEE DRAGONS" and "When is Arya going to go stab a bitch?"
The six things I could never do without
red bull
time to think*

*If I could have any one super power, it would probably be to stop time Saved By The Bell style.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Evolution, psychology, philosophy, capitalism/socialism/politics, sociology, ethics, and computer science.

But mostly the links between them all.

Also, what all of those words actually mean and whether or not I'm using them correctly lol.

Another one I'm really curious about is what the world will look like after another 50-100 years of exponential progress in technology. It's a pretty exciting time to exist!
On a typical Friday night I am
rocking out to rebecca black...

I think one of the best indicators of who I might be interested in would be what they majored in. I think the top of the list would be anthropology, biology, psychology, writing, and computer science.
