Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
***Whoa, I wrote this a long time ago (well, I guess a year isn't
that long). It seems like a long time, though, because it doesn't
really match me right now. I've been trying to rediscover myself
lately, opening myself up to changing how I interact with people
and the world. I hope to get around to updating this more fully
soon. (Updated 17/9/13)
I'm a very intense person. Anything worth doing is worth doing
hard, in my opinion. Sometimes I like that intensity to be balanced
by a carefree person, sometimes I like it to be amplified by an
I think Conor Oberst said it well for me when he said, "On a scale

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in graduate school at UC-Davis in Evolutionary Anthropology. I
study the evolution of human behavior. I hope one day to grow up to

I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Big blue eyes. And I seem to fill a room up when I get into it.

science fiction authors who have won 4 or more Hugos or Nebulas.
Yep, I'm that much of a nerd. On second thought, maybe I shouldn't
have led off with books...
Television is one of my favorite things to do on my downtime. I
think it is the entertainment medium right now where we're seeing
the most creativity and best stories being told. That said, some
Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother (I'm
almost guaranteed to get along with anyone who can quote from this
show), The Wire, Community, Modern Family, American Dad, and the
list goes on.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

Outside of nerd land, I love watching and thinking about soccer.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home, working for a while and then watching something or playing
a video game. I'm also wishing that I had more friends in this new
