My Self-Summary
I really hate these essays. I love taking these silly quizzes
they're so fun and cheesy. My favourite one so far is "What Golden
Girl/TMT are You".
What I’m doing with my life
"Yo I'm livin check to check nibbling on a candybar. Out on tour
economy sized rental car"
I’m really good at
"Livin grandiose puffin on an Ambassador"
The first things people usually notice about me
My big smile :)
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
One of my favourite things in the world to do is go to concerts.
There's something about the energy from the artists and the
audience that I just love. I definitely have eclectic taste in
music. Am I dating myself by saying what would typically be found
in my 5 disc cd player? On any given day my cd player might
contain
"The Bends" Radiohead, "The Very Best of Stevie Wonder", "Quality
Control" Jurassic 5, "Janet" Janet Jackson, "Out Come the Wolves"
Rancid
I love watching movies especially at the theatre. I try to support
local cheap theatres. They're not as fancy as the multiplexes but,
they have character and some of them even have fresh baking
:)
Many would describe me as a picky eater. I am picky but, I'm open
to all different types of food (just not necessarily different
types of meat). Mexican,Indian, Italian,Thai and Carribean are
probably my favourite.
Authors
Judy Blume:Yes I know she's mainly known as a children's author.
I've read most of her stuff intended for Children/youth and some of
her adult works.
Robert Munsch: Loved his books as a child and love reading them to
my preschool students
Jane Austen: I can't decide which one is my favourite. I don't care
if this choice is stereotypical.
Sheneska Jackson: Caught Up in the Rapture
Terry McMillan: Disappearing Acts
Sopie Kinsella and Helen Fielding: Their books are cheesy,
predictible, and very entertaining.
Misc favourites/currently working on: Jim Morrison"American Night",
Neil Postman "Amusing Ourselves to Death: Public Discourse in the
Age of Show Business", Oliver Sacks "An Anthropologist on Mars",
Cialdini "Influence", Naomi Klein "No Logo" , Bell Hooks and many
more.
The six things I could never do without
Music, dance, candy, laughter, smoothies, and creative pursuits.
You should message me if
You're more like Michelangelo or Leonardo than Donatello or
Raphael. If you also like the songs quoted in the "What I'm doing
with my life" and "Good at" sections.
