I am a very pragmatic person, I prefer to use logic and reason to guide all of my decisions. Science has more sway in my life than faith.

I'm non-judgemental, quick to forgive and forget and love spending time with friends.

I am shy around people I don't know, though once I get to know someone, I quickly open up.

I enjoy being active and I love the outdoors. I love to ride my bicycle, paddle a canoe, walk on snow with snoeshoes (sometimes through it), explore and play. A day where I haven't moved in some way is a wasted day!

I am also an avid cook. I make bread, pasta, cakes, crusts, cookies, sauces, doughs, pizzas, etc. I enjoy trying new dishes and making food from scratch.

I can be a bit...eccentric...at times...Ok, nearly all of the time!

I have never traveled for the sake of traveling. Though I am interested in going to Australia and/or New Zealand.

I am currently an Electronics Engineering Technologist working for an electronics manufacturer/designer. I design the hardware and write the firmware for the products we sell. I have been doing this for nearly two years, and I hope to be doing it for many more.

I am saving up my money so that I can build my dream house.

Constantly learning! I am always watching a talk or video on a new subject, or taking a class in something I am interest in.

People usually notice my humor first, mostly because I am a fan of corny jokes, one liners and especially puns. Any joke that makes you groan on the outside but laugh on the inside is probably something I would tell.

Books: Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov, Hyperion series by Dan Simmons, Dracula by Bram Stoker, Rainbows end by Vernor Vinge, Saga of the Pleiocine by Julian May, The complete works of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, etc.

Board Games: Stratego, Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Arkham Horror, Munchkin, and while not board games I enjoy Hearts, 500, 500 Rummy, and various other trick based card games.

TV: Battlestar Gallactica, Firefly, Star Trek (All except Voyager and only the first season of Enterprise), Good Eats, Futurama, etc.

Movies: Armageddon, The Postman (Despite being a terrible movie idea), King Kong, The Deadly Mantis (Cheese factor), Lord of the Rings trilogy, Hanna, Sherlock Holmes (1 & 2), The Grey (I know its depressing, but....), etc.

Music: No real preferences here, almost every genre has found a place in my collection, though I tend to enjoy orchestral music more than other types. For example, the Transiberian Orchestra.

Food: Bread, Waffles, Cornbread, Pasta, Pizza, Bacon and eggs, Lasagna (Homemade vegetarian, ground beef is terrible in it, and you need a lot of bacon to get any flavour), Stirfry, etc

I think about stuff I am working on (both personal and work related). My future. Organizing events with friends and family.

Currently I go to my dojo and practice Aikido, then go play Underwater Football at the UofM. On occasion I meet up with friends to see a movie or go to a party.

I have only had one long term relationship and it lasted just under two years.
