My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey y'all. (Yes. Y'all. I grew up in Iowa. Learn to love it) I'm an actor/singer/film maker/professional adventurer here in the city.

Just got back from three months in Hawaii
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Adventure. That's my plan.

I currently work a couple gigs that take me all over the world. I perform with symphony orchestras around the country, and I sing Frankie Valli music on cruise ships. But when I'm not traveling, NYC is home.

Also, I spend a lot of time rock climbing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Saying yes.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Superficially I'm not the tallest guy in the world, but I have it on good authority that my butt is pretty great. Their words, not mine. Hopefully that balances things out.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Alchemist, Lord of the Rings, Ender's Game series, Game of Thrones up through book three (I feel strongly about this). The Things They Carried, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and all other Douglas Adams books. I've been trying for a couple years to get through Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. It's good, but it's so damn dense.

Movies/TV: Adventure/travel documentaries. Love 'em. Long Way Round (with Ewan McGregor), Top Gear, Cosmos, Planet Earth etc. Beasts of the Southern Wild, Moonrise Kingdom, Life of Pi, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Lost, Jericho, Dr. Who, Stranger than Fiction, Mel Brooks movies, Big Fish, Princess Bride, Love Actually, Moulin Rouge, LOTR, Star Wars duh. Many, many more.

Sadly, I really love country music. But fortunately I also like most other music too. Right now I'm really hooked on Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness (the guy from Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin, if that means anything to you)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. NY style pizza
2. Adventure
3. My passport
4. My family and friends
5. Baseball
6. Being outside

7. Yoga pants. Yours. Not mine. Lord have mercy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My next adventure. Everyone says this. Everyone. The difference is that I'm actually serious. I plan to do. I don't just plan to plan.

Also some day owning a ranch.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends, but I'm really not all that wild anymore at my advanced age. Netflix, film editing, bar with friends, these are all possibilities.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I recently learned that cutting jalapenos and then touching your... nether regions... makes for the worst 20 minutes of your life.

Also I use emojis. Deal with it. They're useful for conveying tone in a text-based world.

You're a feminist and don't mind making the first move. I might not have seen your profile yet! Cut me some slack! ;)
