I am newly single, not looking for love, and not lesbian (thanks).

My Self-Summary

So this is a tad awkward..

I'm a bit of a contradiction, I would say.

I have no patience for stupidity and would much rather not deal with whiny, clingy people who constantly expect help from others. I also am pretty judgmental about those who've gone a different route in life.

All that being said, I am, quite frequently, everything I dislike. So I'm still working on that.

What I’m doing with my life

I've just started school again this year after leaving in 2006.

I'm hating it every step of the way, but am looking forward to better times, hopefully soon.

I’m really good at

Annoying people. I'm serious. I will get on your nerves and under your skin and then you just want to be rid of me, youdon'tcarehow.

I'm also reasonably good at bowling. I bowled competitively for about 6 years. I stopped doing that a few years ago though, so I've become a bit rusty.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm not friendly. I don't smile much and I don't seem to notice the people around me.

I don't think it's completely true, although I will admit I can be difficult to get to know.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Movies:
Before Sunrise
Before Sunset
Lost in Translation
Le Papillon

Books:
The Unbearable Lightness of Being
The Colour of Hope
The Timekeeper's Daughter
My Sister's Keeper
(and a whole long list of other titles)

The six things I could never do without

my phone, the internet, money, air, food and water

I spend a lot of time thinking about

what might have been.
if.
the future.
God.

On a typical Friday night I am

preparing for my Saturday classes.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm afraid of the dark.
