I had another profile on here, but I hadn't updated it in 2 1/2 years. Instead, I've been concentrating on fulfilling my school and career goals. Now that I'm no longer a poor college student, I want to take advantage of my situation.

I would love to go skiing all winter long, hike up and down every mountain, travel where I can, and try new things. Even better is if I could share these experiences with someone special - someone who complements me. I do enjoy staying inside to watch a loud action movie on the plasma and awesome speakers, but I get enough of the indoors with my job. I can't let Colorado's beauty go to waste!

Speaking of my job, I currently work at a small business as the Chief Technology Officer. It sounds more important than it is, haha. When you're part of a small business you get to make up nifty titles for yourself. My main responsibility is web development, but I get sucked into just about everything else tech related. I work from home, which is awesome, but gives me a bit of cabin fever sometimes. Nonetheless, I love my job and will continue learning all my life to make myself better at what I do.

I believe life is a learning exercise from start to finish. I always strive to know the meaning behind something, solve a problem instead avoid it, and finish things I start. I keep informed on what is going on in the world and keep myself open-minded towards others' ideas. I love having philosophical discussions on just about any topic - even better under a meteor shower.

Besides the above, I am absolutely fascinated by the weather. If I wasn't so awesome at my current line of work, I would be a meteorologist. I long for summer thunderstorms and winter blizzards. It would be a dream to go on a tornado chase some day. If the idea of a tornado chase doesn't sound appealing to you :p, I also enjoy bowling, watching/playing/going to baseball games, tennis, strategic board/card games, and watching a good movie.

I just graduated from CSU with a degree in applied computing technology (like computer science) in December. I have an awesome job that allows me the luxury of working from home and hot tub meetings. I moved out here a little less than 3 years ago and have yet to really explore what Colorado has to offer. Now that I have time, I'd like to put it to good use. I'd also like to do it all with someone as adventurous as I am by my side. I also just got my very own place - which is awesome. Yay for getting uninterrupted sleep and not cold showers.

I'm really good at achieving goals, fixing things, problem solving, most anything computer related, guitar hero, eating slowly, daydreaming, dreaming about being a superhero, flying in my dreams, and not getting chapped lips despite the humidity being around zero.

And to be fair to the flip side of this topic, I do suck at flying in real life - but that's it :p

I tend not to read books any more. I used to read medical thrillers, but now I mostly just digest a bit of the internet each day.

I like movies that make you think, as well as movies that rumble my seat or make my side hurt from laughing. Movies like The Matrix, The Shawshank Redemption, V for Vendetta, Office Space, Fight Club.

As for music, I like just about anything that sounds good to me. I tend to listen to symphonic music when working, and rock and obscure bands during my free time. I really don't like rap. I like to listen to music just about all the time.

Bleh, I don't have any unique taste for food and it's one the areas I'd like to learn more about.

I spend a lot of time thinking - period. I think about just about everything I do or say ahead of time. I think about the people around me, what they're thinking, and what they're going to think. This usually leads to me being quite introverted at times. Once I know and trust people, I'm quite open.

In general though I think up new ideas for things, make plans, dream, then ponder the universe.

I don't have a typical Friday night and I like it that way.

I get nervous about things even though I don't want to be nervous - it's like an uncontrollable subconscious thing. I'm always fine when I'm doing the thing I was nervous about, but it sure is annoying beforehand.
