Trying to summarize myself in a few sentences is a bit tough. I feel that you can never know someone till you meet them. So I will state facts let you decide if you want to know more.
First why am I in Colorado one might ask well here is the answer. I moved to DC from California this past August for a med school prep program. After I finished the program I came to the conclusion that medical school was not the right fit for me so I started moving back to California. On the way back my uncle asked me what my plans were and I said that I was gonna look for work where ever I could find it and start preparing to go into a Masters or Ph.D program. That's when he said that his charter school was hiring science teachers and here I am. I got hired and I have realized that High School Education is too much about money and not enough about kids.
My travels up to this point have taken me to Mexico, Guam, Japan, and Australia internationally. I have been to all but 7 states and have seen nearly every national monument.

Endeavors of the past are tennis, soccer, baseball, basketball, skiing, surfing, rock-climbing, martial arts, and many others.
I am also a weekend whitewater raft guide in the summer and a rock-climbing guide. A friend has recently decided I need to learn how to kayak so I guess I will doing that at some point this summer.

I can be a bit of a nerd about several things like Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc... But that makes sense since I majored in Biology during undergrad.
I spent 6 years in the Navy on a Submarine and because of that I have been to places that very few people ever get to see; such as I have been swimming at the intersection of the date line and equator.
I have an Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who as of March is about 17 months old. Apparently this is a new breed someone is trying to start known as a Australian Retriever. Either way she is very smart and can hop a 6 foot fence like it doesn't exist. At least she doesn't run away.
