Howdy! I moved to Korea a year ago March 1st. I'm living in Ulsan, and I'm liking it so far. It's an industrial city, and reminds me a lot of Winnipeg, my hometown.

I've almost entirely settled in. I've been studying Korean for about a year, and I feel like I can get by pretty well here now.

In university, I studied Politics and Religion - with the hopes of getting into Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs. Unfortunately, with no foreign living experience, that turned out to be all but impossible.

So I decided to teach overseas. I decided on Korea because I had had some exposure to the culture growing up, and it seemed like a good idea at the time.
