My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Welcome, Reader!

My name is Michael. I'm a rather shy, and kind of socially awkward at times, but I promise that those are endearing qualities, not creepy ones.

Let's talk more about me. I have a very good sense of humour, I don't take myself too seriously, I think I'm a kind person (no one has ever told me otherwise), I'm incredibly honest (because I'm a terrible liar), and don't like popcorn. Deal with it.

I love the outdoors. If I had the opportunity to get dropped off in the middle of large forest and just live off the land for the rest of my life, I would. Unfortunately, people would miss me and the government likes to keep tabs on people so I may not have the opportunity to do this.

I'm one of those pretentious losers that uses a record player. In all seriousness, one of my favourite things to do is rummage through a dirty bin of records in search of a hidden gem.

I'm currently working in administration and logistics for an HVAC company.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working right now, I would like to go back to school but I'm not sure what for.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Making fantastic--ly awful puns
- I have a talent for naming anything with a face
- seamlessly working television quotes into normal conversation (you'll swear you were just speaking with Chandler!)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know. I'm pretty non-controversial in my appearance most of the time, so maybe my ability to blend in? You can always tell a Milford Man.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I'm a sucker for the classics, I've read something by most of the usual heavy-hitters. Lately, I've been into philosophy so Aldous Huxley and Bertrand Russel come to mind.

Movies: Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy, Full Metal Jacket, The Hustler, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, City of God, 7 Samurai, Bronson, The Prestige, Goodfellas, 2001... I could go on. I also very much enjoy documentaries, I could watch them all day.

Shows: It's Always Sunny, Workaholics, Parks and Rec., Community, Wilfred, Modern Family, Rick and Morty, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Bob's Burgers, Archer, The Simpsons seasons 1-12, Friends, Fraiser, Seinfeld.

Music: I love music. Anyone that has their own distinct sound will have my attention. Anyone that has done something completely different has a special place in my heart. We can talk for hours about music, if you're interested. I'm a big fan of Zappa, Beefheart, Genesis, Mars Volta (and pretty much all of Omar Rodriguez-Lopez's stuff), Can, Funkadelic, The Residents, pretty much everything else from the 70's
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm going to list the 6 albums I would bring with me if I were to be stranded on a desert island (that has electricity...It's a pretty great Island)

In no particular order:

- Pink Floyd - Animals
- Can - Tago Mago
- Genesis - Foxtrot
- Pixies - Doolittle
- Frank Zappa - Overnite Sensation
-Amon Duul II - Tanz Der Lemminge

I'm probably going to ask you this same question,
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably at home, listening to, or playing music. I live with my 2 best-friends, so it's not as sad as it sounds....right?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a die-hard Survivor fan, I've seen every episode.

This is exactly as sad as it sounds.
