The best part of a relationship is the growth, (of the individuals). When you wake up next to someone and realize you've become a better person because of them, not because they hold your hand and guide you, but because they inspire you, that's a reason to wake up. I seek a girl who inspires me. Inspires me to realize myself when I'm stubborn or out-of-line. Someone who's not afraid to force me to the gym under the false pretense of a date, and will even dress up to escort me to sci-fi conventions. Someone who will humor me by attempting to play a nerdy board game, and then wave a flashlight in front of my eyes so I provide the same concern for her interests as well. I am not interested in short term, meaningless flings or casual dating. I want to meet someone who is looking for a long term commitment.

I am an old school romantic. While I do enjoy sex, and would like a relationship that eventually encompasses that, it is not what I need right now. What I require is a nice girl, who I would not be afraid to have my parents meet. Someone who is happy to just spend time with me, cuddled up and watching a movie. Someone who I can fall asleep next to. Someone who i can cook for, or take out to have a nice dinner. Someone to inspire my writing. I want a partner.

I'm (passively) working on starting up a company to publish small market books and games. I would like to support myself with my writing alone, instead of doing it for fun or as a way to supplement my income. I just started back at college after a 5-year break to finish a degree so I can become an English teacher. Travel is also something I would love to do. I have had the opportunity to live in England and spent a couple weeks touring Australia in the past. I would love to go to Japan next, preferably to teach English. Other areas of Europe and Asia would be fun as well.

Writing. I myself am not always happy with what I produce, but have had others tell me I should try to get published. So, i suppose I am decent.

I am also good at remembering knowledge about unusual subjects. I know a lot about vampires, folklore, mythology, rpgs, television, comics, and movies. I'm like a walking geek encyclopedia. I also have a decent knowledge of religion in general.

I have a dark humor and dry wit. It's perfect for akward parties.

Books: Anything by Neil Gaiman, anything by China Mieville, House of Leaves, most anything science fiction or fantasy. I am a bookworm.

Movies: Memento, A Clockwork Orange, Donnie Darko, Underworld, The Lost Boys, The Exorcist, Sin City. Foreign Films. Independant Films. Generally, I like most movies I see. I just like movies a LOT.

Music: Evanescence, The Cure, The Ramones, Beethoven, Mozart, Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar. I will listen to just about everything, given the right artist.

Foods: Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican...hell, foreign food in general.
