I am honest, witty, and sarcastic.

My Self-Summary

I’m fairly laid back and easy going, but also really enjoy a lively debate. Talk radio and following current events are among some of my favorite ways to pass the time. I also enjoy watching movies- good and even really bad ones, hockey games and college football, live theater and concerts. I have a bit of a dry, yet witty sense of humor and don’t think I’ve ever found any joke to be offensive. After all, it’s a joke.

I have a rather eclectic taste in music- there isn’t much I won’t listen to. I have a serious case of wanderlust and try to travel as much as possible- it’s not a “want to”, it’s a “have to”. Seeing the sights is great, but really getting to know the people and their culture is where the real fun is.

I've recently moved to the Virginia Highlands and am spending my free evenings and weekends exploring the local shops and restaurants. I’ve lived in the Atlanta area for a while now, but still like finding places I haven’t been to or seen before.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

All kinds of music- from classical and opera to disco and classic country. There really isn't much I don't/ won't listen to.

Movies- I'm a little more picky. Top 5 favorites are Apocalypse Now, A Clockwork Orange, Trainspotting, Pulp Fiction, Rope.

I tend to read of lot of biographies, historical and political non-fiction, but I also enjoy a well written story or poem. Irvine Welsh, Hunter Thompson, John Keats and William Wordsworth are among some of my favorites.

The six things I could never do without

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I never finished A Tale of Two Cities. I read the Cliff Notes. I hate Charles Dickens novels with a passion. Oh, and I didn’t finish Great Expectations either.
