My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just a Jewish guy with loads of ambition, but who needs that special (Jewish) gal to give me that extra boost of energy to finally get 'em done.
I'm very laid back, totally old school, with a hint of Israeli mashuganah to keep from thigns getting boring.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
-Not rolling on Shabbos--sadly I'm not as big of a fan of "The Big Labowski" as I should be...
-Getting over nostalgia for nostalgia sake, and actually growing up...tomorrow...maybe...
-When I have the time (after graduation?) I explore my artsy side by being a total foodie, and trying to finally finish up a novel I've been toying with...years actually o.0 woah time flies. Let's jsut say Star Wars really encouraged me to reach for the stars--if a nobody can become a billionaire through imagination, then why not a trillionaire? ok my head isn't that far up the clouds, but you know what I mean
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-faking it 'till I make it
-being overly philosophical BUT also overly rational
-connecting dots--I got a friend who can totally vouch for that (it totally made my day when it was said aloud ha!)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
-that I'm the strong silent type who actually loves making those around me laugh until they pee
- eventually you'll realize I'm just a big kid at heart, even though I'm more mature than the average bear...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

argh too much...I grew up soaking media like Abed (from Community--best show ever...long live Starburns) for the sake of not being such an outsider (I'm the first in my immediate family born in the US, so...) BUT I'm horribel at names--actors, directors, writers, even characters at times...

-books--I could talk about all the geeky books I'm into, from Sidney to Shakespeare to...let's just say the Harry Potter series and call it a night

-movies--Star Wars. I'm not going to bore you with a million more titles...

-shows--Archer, Dan Vs, Scrubs, the Avatar: the last airbender and Korra shows, DBZ (yeah I'm old school and it's too fun to deny), Chopped, from Unique Eats to Nadia's Kitchen and practically all the rest from CookingChannel, Mad Men (just started becoming a fan), House, Seinfeld...oh Young Justice (yeah it's another cartoon but IT IS EPIC!--sorry for yelling), and too many more...

-music--if it's not hardcore rap or screaming metal, I'm up for it. I usually soak up bands through only one or two songs, but actual albums I listen to would be by the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Muse, Linkin Park (though lately...meh...there's a new one in June so we'll see...), System of a Down (though they can get too scream-o metal for me), er...oh try out Vitamin String Quartet if you haven't yet (I have a sweet spot for strings, so yeah I love classical music when it's not too slow, like contemporary John Williams and Hans Zimmerman)

-food--if it's kosher, I'm all over it. BUT i do sadly have stomach problems and stuff...bare with me...pwease?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-good food
-fun (from friends and family to bad movies)
-new cool things to learn (sounds way less nerdy than just saying "knowledge")
-some alone time to just...process

not really in any order, mind ya....
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
-everything...I'm a serious over-thinker (gift and a curse, like Monk used to say--don't you miss that show!?)
-stuff that can go into my novel I mentioned earlier (I can't even control it anymore...)
-the past and the future, but rarely the present--hopefully I'll find that special someone to ground me into the here and now...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
- at home with family (usually just the folks) watching recorded shows or a movie (did I mention we have a 3D TV?? haha and a bunch of movies that, er, fell off the truck wink wink) celebrating Shabbat in the laziest of ways...did I mention my parents are Israeli? I'm sure that'll explain tons...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
- Besides loads of private questions I answered on the site (check 'em out becasue I'm not going to be the one bringing them up haha) I'd say the most self-concious private thing about me is my chronic stomach problem--bummer, right? Good thing is it helps me enjoy the here and now, which is way too tough for me ;P
-OH and I'm afraid of spiders...they are the coolest animal but...from afar...
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
- you're Jewish, meaning you know a wee bit of hebrew and try to keep kosher (by being vegetarian maybe--that's my strategy when I eat out)
- not being afraid of spiders would be a GIANT plus--what? someone's gotta catch 'em (all)--sorry, I've been obsessed with this pokememes websites and I couldn't resist
- and, well, check out the questions I filled out to learn more--I answered way too many, I know...
