My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Outgoing, confident with an absolute joy for life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working for a great company and great boss who only accepts gigs that really interest me.
The company is, of course, mine, and I do contract work for companies that need help with change, transformation, human resources issues and executive and leadership coaching. I spent most of my career as a senior manager and executive in large companies and am totally enjoying reaching out to smaller and mid sized companies that don't have this level of support. AND it means working on my timeline so I have lots of time for other marvellous adventures.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being a loving friend and family member; making the 'now' count more than the past and future; working and playing hard; listening intently and being direct but not confrontational.
Listening to music of all types with eclectic taste, ranging from Hank to Hendrix.

Oh man, more lists..just read Kate Atkinson's new novel Life after Life and cannot stop thinking about it..
Movies and music: saw Lincoln and Tarantino's Django Unchained at the movies; watch many more movies at home on demand; the dogs are quiet and we all love popcorn, mine with tabasco sauce; music? Last two concerts were Neil Young in Calgary and the Stones in TO; love jazz preferably live and yes opera but more traditional and weep unabashedly at Madama Butterfly.
Food? Love to cook, barbecue, make delish soups; Asian food; rice dishes and ice cream. I LOVE ice cream and frozen yoghurt.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Other than the life giving stuff like air etc., I could never live without the ability to think and reason and make sense of this crazy, wild ride we are all on together.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I am doing right this regard, I actually work at living in the moment and trying not to be forever looking backward and forward. Not that I don't believe in learning and loving the past; and planning and dreaming of the future, but in the midst of my life I try to truly live it..who said (other than the Tragically Hip) life is not a dress rehearsal?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Um what is special about Friday night?? or Saturday? or Tuesday?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Anything that private, I wouldn't think that posting it on an Internet site would show much substance.
