My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A bit eccentric, a bit feral, and very unique. I walk to my own beat and have deep thoughts and wild ideas. I do not like watching sports, and I'm as funny as Spock doing stand up comedy. Still with me?
I'm a lover of the teas and the arts. I'm a father to my cat, a dedicated yogi, and most recently a home-owner. I love having a kitchen to myself and playing King of the Castle! I'm AOK, INTP, and GGG.

I hope this site helps me find a beautiful woman full of SPARKS!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a self-taught, self-employed audio engineer and work from home. 11+ years and counting. It is my dream job, combining my love of music with my passion for hi-end audio gear. Audio Mastering satisfies the artist, scientist and perfectionist inside me. There are no limits or rules, and I’m always learning new techniques to make a record sound the best it can. I take a lot of pride in what I do. It is a big part of who I am.

I'm a life long learner and move at my own pace. I'm full of flaws and determined to grow with each passing day. I believe that physical fitness and meditation help light the way. I have overcome many obstacles and have built my world out of nothing.
I love to travel but rarely travel, I love to road trip but not nearly enough, I love to camp and ski and plan to do all these things more often.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making music sound epic. Self sufficiency. Self deprecation. Adaptation. Gratitude. Tenderness. Using Evernote to organize my everything. Solving problems McGuyver style. Synchronizing movement and breath. Connecting with animals. Working with my hands, using tools. Coordination and aim, building, tinkering and fixing things. My brain is wired for philosophy and critical thinking.
I'm 'good' at yoga, but I really don't believe in that statement. If you challenge yourself and continue to return to the mat, then you're good at yoga. It does not matter how strong you are or how deep you can stretch. Riding your edge, no matter where that is, is all the same. That's the good stuff.
The first things people usually notice about me

Still waters, dry wit, and youthful.

Healthier the better. I'm somewhere between vegetarian and vegan. I love all fruits and veggies in large proportions.
Indian, Thai, Ethiopian, Mexican, Mediterranean, etc. If there's spinach, broccoli, coconut and legume in some variation, then I'm set.

I'm a fan of the Avant-garde, abstract, surreal, experimental, conceptual, noise, minimalism, some pop, world, heavy, western, classical. I enjoy most all styles except for a couple genres, which I will not list because sometimes I'm hired to work on them. I have a large collection of music rolling in on a regular basis. A few favorites do end up on repeat over the months and years, such as AA Bondy, Shin Joong Hyun, Dead Fingers, The Gutters, Tweak Bird, Chromatics, Daniel Menche, Water Liars, Irma Thomas, The Renderers, The Memories, Grouper, John Cage, Cornelius Cardew, Einstürzende Neubauten, Oh Grave Yard You Can't Hold Me Always... This list could get real long. I love it when music moves to me dance, reflect, or cry.

I like smart film. Intense, experimental, documentary. I also like feel-good flicks that go down easy. Or a big budget something, at a big budget cinema, with a bucket of big budget popcorn. I think Jan Švankmajer is one of the greatest artists and film makers of all time.

Recent books include: Lying, The Good Nurse, Incognito, Monkey Mind, Haunted, Sex at Dawn, You're it, The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my health
my cat
my journal
my independence
my mat
my audio gear
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think a lot about the state of the world. Perpetual motion. How to make the impossible, possible. Where we come from, where we are going. My cute home, my cute cat, my work, my path, proper wording, and when I’ll meet that magical someone. I rarely think of (or dwell upon) the past. There's too much to absorb and savor in the now.

I identify as an atheist though I'm the most spiritual atheist you'll ever meet. I think a lot about the silent witness inside me, and how it is the same in you and everyone and everything throughout the Cosmos. I sometimes feel a fleeting universal connection and know in a sense I've experienced this all before and will experience it all again. The physical body assumes various forms, masters life, and then passes into dust along with its memories. But somehow that witness is constant and eternal. It does sound a bit woo-woo for an atheist and a man of science. I certainly do not identify with the cartoonish portrayal of the world found in most religions. Except for some eastern religions, which to me are more philosophy than religion.

I have always considered women equal to men, and hope someday the rest of the world does too. This equality extends to all race, color, creed, gender, orientation etc. The dark ages were not that long ago and the struggle continues. I think it's important to say this out loud.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Weather permitting, I’m probably biking with my crew to have a fire and cookout at the river. I am always up for a good show. Or star gazing, hiking, walking, theater, film, bike rides, car rides, swimming, jogging, shaking my tail feather, and of course getting frisky. Otherwise it's 7:15 yoga (at 105 degrees F), and an early Saturday morning.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm awkward, and had Def Leppard hair in high school.
