Books: Siddartha by Herman Hesse, L'Etranger (The Outsider... even
though it's actually The Stranger) by Albert Camus... Graphic
novels... Watchmen, From Hell, The Ballad of Halo Jones, V for
Vendetta (All written by the same person funnily enough). Eckhart
Jaws, Aliens, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, The Conversation,
The City of Lost Children, Black Swan, Moon, Dark City, Rosemary's
Baby, Some Like It Hot and Pixar
films. I love good horror (actually
I love crap horror too) and a bit of a scifi yarn. I NEVER get
bored of Coming To America or Predator and The Lives of Others
You'll find me at Sonisphere festival, the Proms and I have a
yearly trip to Ibiza... mixed up! ...I've been a music lover from a
very young age. When I was 7 there was only one other kid in my
class to talk music with. My teens were dominated by Guns n Roses
and alternative rock bands like The Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, The
Sisters of Mercy and Nirvana. I slowly grew more of a metal
appreciation leading into my 20s. Then at 22 I came to London and
discovered dance music. Now I listen to everything but my favourite
music is all types of Rock and Metal, EDM & IDM... and film
music... which I consider to be contemporary classical music.
I love food. I cook, I bake, I love to try new things and love to
eat out. I'm very conscious of what I eat though. I believe that it
goes beyond just being physically healthy and is very important to
me. Of course I still occasionally throw caution to the wind and
i'm not stupendously fussy.... just aware. I love Thai.
Other stuff I love... Nice people, animals, swimming in the sea,
Fawlty Towers, Seinfeld, The IT Crowd, David Attenborough, live
music, Ibiza, the Sun, the Moon, rain, hiking, drumming, running,
cycling, hugs, kisses, sex, pubs, bars, BFI, wine, hats, leather,
ellipsis, Guinness, cocktails.
Things I don't like: negativity, football culture, the one creepy
person at the party, music for the masses (not the Depeche Mode
album, that's brilliant!).
