I'm really into music. I've been singing forever, and I can't get enough live music (mostly into alternative rock/indie/hipster stuff). I bought a guitar as soon as I moved out here and have been very slowly teaching myself how to play it.
I'm a pretty silly person- I find it difficult to walk by a mirror without making some sort of face in it, and I appreciate a healthy dose of sarcasm.
I love going to baseball games- I root for the Giants now that I'm here, but you'll never tear me away from my Yankees.
I'm super into food- love cooking, love eating, love learning about nutrition and reading food blogs, the whole shebang.
I think shebang is a really weird word to write out. It makes me think of Ricky Martin, which it totally wouldn't if I just said the word out loud. Yup, I'm stuck in the '90s. It's fine.
I slowly make everyone I know addicted to Dominion (the game).
I discovered kettlebells earlier this year and really enjoy working out with them. You'll have a tough time trying to get me to go out for a run, but give me something heavy to lift or swing around and I'm so there.
Speaking of swing, I came across some people dancing Lindy Hop over the holidays last year and decided it was the most fun looking dance I'd ever seen, and therefore I should learn how to do it. So I've been dancing Lindy Hop for the last 6 months or so. Dance is probably the thing I look the most forward to each week.
I care a lot about the people I'm close to, and I'm incredibly loyal. I'm a good listener, and really enjoy knowing what's going on in people's lives, both the good and the bad.
