My self-summary
I've always had a hard time describing myself. I'm fun loving (but who isn't?), relatively outgoing, and just looking for people to hang out with. I'm not dead set on finding a relationship, but I'd love to acquire friends I can chill with on any given day. =)
What I’m doing with my life
I'm 24...am I supposed to know what I'm doing? Working hard, playing hard, trying to keep a smile on my face while the sun's in the sky.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at telling stories. It's the one compliment I constantly get (outside of "oh my god, you're hilarious", but usually that's at my own expense, lol). I love to talk, so I often go off on tangents and tell crazy (and sadly, true) stories about this beautiful mess I call my life.
The first things people usually notice about me
My laugh! Which I hate. I feel like it's contagious because it's funny to hear. I laugh and giggle a lot, especially when I'm nervous, so it's usually the first thing people notice about me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite books change every year. I'm an avid reader and certain stories just mov me. One of my all time favorites is "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'Brien. I read a lot as a kid, though I seem to lack time for it now. I enjoyed reading through a list of "the classics" (Journey to the Centre of the Earth, Great Expectations, The Scarlett Letter, etc), but now I've gotten really into Jodi Piccoult novels, although the screen adaptation of My Sister's Keeper made me *very* happy I didn't pay to see it (who changes an ending *that* touching?). I used to be really into reading books, then finding movies based on them, but I think I kept setting myself up for disappointment with that one.

My all time favorite movie is Disney's Beauty and the Beast. I do, however, often get caught indulging in a few "faves":
Star Wars (don't even bring up episodes I-III)
Mean Girls
Marley & Me (though I REFUSE to watch the ending.)
Seven
Indiana Jones Trilogy (yes, just the first three...wtf was up with The Crystal Skull?)
Die Hard
The Fifth Element
Basically anything where Bruce Willis kicks ass.
Harry Potter Movies
LOTR trilogy
Sappy adaptations of Nicholas Sparks novels.
Along with close to every Disney cartoon released (sad to admit, but you'd find out eventually anyway...)

My musical taste is so utterly varied and random, I could never pick a single song or even artist as my favorite.

I will always be both a sushi lover and a pasta lover.
The six things I could never do without
(these are *obviously* in not particular order)

1. My dog. - He is my baby boy and my world. I would do anything for my little spoiled brat. I rescued him from abandonment when he was just a few weeks old, and he's been my right hand ever since.

2. My iPhone. - I am sadly and pathetically addicted to my phone. I one day hope to be able to remove this from my list, but as it's my means of communication, my phone, my watch, my calendar, and more, it's pretty handy right now.

3. Dancing. - I used to dance competitively and I still teach on occasion. I wish I could devote more time to getting back into dancing, but for now, my room will have to serve as my stage.

4. Stupid funny video shows. - Whenever I need a laugh, America's Funniest Home Videos or The World's Most Shocking...always make my day. Haha.

5. The Beach. - I could never live in a place where I couldn't sink my toes into the sand and run through waves whenever the urge hit me. Rain or shine, my happy place is the nearest sandy shore.

6. My friends. - They keep me sane and drive me crazy, but they are my family and, despite our differences, we always fall together as one. <3
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My future. Things fell apart in big ways for me when I was younger. Nothing I planned to accomplish happened, but I'm constantly revising my life plan and working towards what I really want out of life.
On a typical Friday night I am
With the pup at my best friend's apartment. Her two dogs have a play date with mine while we have a get together. Be it just her, her gf, and I or a full blown rager, we make sure to spend at least one day a week together. If in not over there, I'm usually home, hanging out, doing chores, exciting stuff like that. Haha. I do frequent bars, or did when I had the extra cash, and don't mind going out, but I'm equally as happy staying in.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Is that I'm afraid of the dark. Extremely afraid. I'm 24 and I have to sleep with a light on. Haha. I cried once during a power outage. =\

Also-I've slipped and actually fallen on a banana peel TWICE. I'm *that* girl. Lol.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 19–34
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You're laid back and easy to talk to. We don't have to date, we can just be friends to chill with (you can never have too many partners in crime!). However, I don't do hookups or casual sex, it's a personal thing. So, if I seem interesting or like we're compatible, feel free to drop me a message. I try to reply to every one I get, but I do miss some on occasion. =)
