What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just trying to live a life I can honestly say is worth living. I don't really care about making gobs of money or having the newest gadgets or anything. All I want is good friends, good times, and a good life.

Lately I've been working on some novellas and trying this yoga thing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
They tell me I'm funny. I believe them; it's not worth fighting over.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A lot of people tell me some variation on "you're huge!" I didn't think 6'4" was all that big, but I suppose I'm used to it because all those people seem kind of small to me!

After that, I've been told I have nice forearms, whatever that means.

I try to dress decently. I hope no one notices when I don't quite pull it off.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I read a lot of fiction, fantasy stuff like GRRM or Steven Erikson, historical stuff like Flashman and Sharpe, some modern fiction (mostly Bret Easton Ellis), and future fiction like 40k stuff. I also read the occasional real-life book.

I like movies ecclectically. A lot of action/horror/scifi, but also weird quiet character pieces and documentaries. It's difficult to pin down, but in a general sense anything with Arnold Schwarzenegger is good. :)

According to iTunes, I am a gigantic metalhead with a mean streak of jpop and a few random strands of punk, reggae, classic rock, and other things floating in the mix. Best band in the world for me are Judas Priest, so take it as you will.

I like... tasty food?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My glasses. Unless you want to pay for the LASIK procedure...
My hands. They're very useful, holding cups and paintbrushes, and many other things, too.
A sense of humour. Life is just too fucking weird not to have one.
Reading material. I lived without electricity for a while when I was younger, and books helped keep me sane.
Body hair. I tried shaving my body once. It was very cold. I didn't much care for it.
Freedom. Freedom to dress as I please, say what I please, do as I please. What use is anything else without freedom?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My goals.
Some painting or story I'm working on.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
metabolizing oxygen and glucose.
