I'm currently in graduate school for Theatre and Performance Studies, focusing on Theatre for Social Justice, theatre in activism, and critical pedagogy in the theatre classroom. I've been involved with radical politics and am currently involved in efforts to unionize graduate assistants at my university and to resist tuition increases. My bicycle is my primary mode of transportation, but I love walking and do own a car. I have a small garden of vegetables and herbs and I love hiking and the outdoors.
What I’m doing with my life
While completing my degree in Theatre and Performance Studies, I teach undergraduates in the Theatre Department. I occasionally devise and direct theatre pieces. I'm researching groups that use embodied learning and theatrical exercises to support emerging social practice. I am fascinated by play, performance, and politics.
