I am a man of many talents. I have two grown and talented daughters. I enjoy helping others and being a friend. I've been significantly involved in volunteer organizations for many years. I had my own business in computer technology for many years.

I am working as an IT consultant and doing computer repair and support for individuals and businesses. This is a re-invention of myself in the computer business in which I have spent most of my career.

Anything by Barbara Kingsolver or Isabel Allende. Historical novels and nonfiction books as well as a wide variety of fiction are also favorites. I recently read Philip Gourevitch's book about the Rwanda genocide and Tom Brokaw's book The Time Of Our Lives.
I also really enjoy foreign and small budget alternative films. I also liked Avatar and the Harry Potter books and films. Most recent movies that I enjoyed are Hope Springs (Meryl Streep) and Trouble With The Curve (Clint Eastwood) both of which provide good human drama.

My family, good food, good friends, the great outdoors, laughing, passion, and intellectual discussion.

What a messed up world we live in and what can I do to make it a better place even a small way. I am truly concerned for our grandchildren's generation.
