My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a man of many talents. I have two grown and talented daughters. I enjoy helping others and being a friend. I've been significantly involved in volunteer organizations for many years. I had my own business in computer technology for many years.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am selling solar electric systems and doing energy consulting. I very much enjoy this as it matches well with my values regarding conservation of resources and a need to do something about climate change. This is where I am spending most of my time these days.

I am also working as an IT consultant and doing computer repair and support for individuals and businesses. This is a re-invention of myself in the computer business in which I spent most of my career.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Open and honest communication. Being a friend and helpmate. Kissing. Information technology.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes, my smile, and the fact that I have a nearly full head of hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Anything by Barbara Kingsolver or Isabel Allende. Historical novels and nonfiction books as well as a wide variety of fiction are also favorites. I recently read Philip Gourevitch's book about the Rwanda genocide and Tom Brokaw's book The Time Of Our Lives. Currently reading the book by Mary Tillman about her son Pat Tillman who was killed inAfghanistan by friendly fire. This is a very disturbing book regarding the lies that were made to his family about what happened to him.

I really enjoy foreign and indie films. Avatar and the Harry Potter books and films were great. Recent movies that I enjoyed are Hope Springs (Meryl Streep) and Trouble With The Curve (Clint Eastwood) both of which provide good human drama. I also liked The Butler, Capt. Phillips, and Fruitvale Station (A friend of mine was in this movie).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family, good food, good friends, the great outdoors, laughing, passion, sex and intellectual discussion. So much for following the rules.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What a messed up world we live in and what can I do to make it a better place even in a small way. I am truly concerned for our grandchildren's generation. If I can sell more solar electric systems I feel I'm doing my part in helping the economy to become a greener, more sustainable and healthy model.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Nothing typical, it could be a movie or dinner with friends or a number of other things.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'll definitely pass on this question until I meet you in person. Oh yes, and I really like women and think they have had a very bad deal for a very long time.
