My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Darrell.
I'm not shy; I'm just not that outgoing.
I'm a private person.
I'm a presentable nerd.
I'm stubborn and bull-headed.
I don't believe in being humble; I believe in being honest.
I'm a person who "looks through other eyes".
My beliefs are multilateral and sagacious.
I have high self-confidence and low self-worth, but hopefully one day I'll see that differently.
I fully own my own house and car, and really like my manual labor job.
I'm 6'6", 248 lbs, with a 45" chest, 38" waist, and 38" inseam. I'm completely happy with this.
I'm not photogenic at all; I'm 1000x times better looking in person.
I sing all the time, write my own music, and I'd like to think that I'm an amazing lyricist.
I am truly a "Renaissance Man" or "a Jack of All Trades".
I've been quiet for the first 18 years of my life.
I understand people, perceptions, feelings, conversation and relationships, to a tee.
You won't have or find a better friend, partner, or lover than me.
Yes I do have a girlfriend, whom I met on here; I love Jessica Reilly very much; I'm keeping this profile open to meet more cool and attractive people. :).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm being what I have to be for the people I love. :).

Other than that? Working a lot, waiting for a few months so I can qualify for my company's Tuition Reimbursement Program. :).

Also delving into my interests. I'm saving up a little bit of money to buy a mic. :).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
being competitive, honest, making smiles and reading people.

Besides all that, I'd like to think that I'm a pretty decent singer and that I'm better than Bobby Flay in the kitchen, though that's not saying much.

I'm pretty good at the internet as well.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my height, my height, and my height. Then maybe my "swoopy" hair, my sardonic / sarcastic sense of humor, my weird "everyeyecolor" eye color, or my dazzling "never been to a dentist" perfect smile. :P

I love to read anything from political articles to comic books.

I loved the Harry Potter books, and knew who R.A.B was before Deathly Hallows.

I've loved Tuesdays with Morrie, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, The Power of One, God's Debris, The Magicians, Beowulf, Boy's Life, To Kill a Mockingbird, Watchmen, Fight Club, A Clockwork Orange, ugh, too many to count; those are off the top of my head.

Harold and Maude (the best friggin' movie ever), Second Hand Lions, Sin City, To Kill A Mocking Bird, Harry Potter series, Fight Club, Time Traveler's Wife, Eternal Sunshine for the Spottless Mind, K-Pax, Repo: The Genetic Opera, Shaolin Soccer, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Kick-Ass, The Fifth Element, The Dark Knight, The Avengers, No Strings Attached, Friends with Benefits, and The Hangover. If I've watched it, it is probably a good movie. All the same, Gregory Peck is a boss.

Eh, I really don't watch TV, and wouldn't have cable.

MSNBC, Good Eats, House, Glee, WWE, the Office, Supernatural, the Walking Dead, NCIS, How I Met Your Mother, MythBusters, Avatar: the Last Airbender, Law and Order, just things like that. I've also watched a TON of Anime in my time. FLCL, Deathnote (although I hate the ending), and Paranormal Agent are freakin' fantastic!

I love musicals, and wish I had more people in my life that would like to go see them. My favorite musicals are The Producers, Le Miz, etc.

When it comes to music, I like everything, except "screamo", "death metal", and anything related to "thinking my tractor's sexay". I do love "power" metal, Touhou, Eurobeat, House and Indie stuff. Rap is cool if the beat is catchy and that rap is very witty and meaningful. Metal covers of pop-rock-old songs can be quite amazing.

Helloween, Iron Maiden, Twisted Sister, Queen, Quiet Riot, Van Canto, Sonata Arctica, Axel Rudi Pell, Crush 40, Kamelot, The Protomen, The Killers, Ed Sherann, Living Colour, Panic at the Disco, We The Kings, All Time Low, Maroon 5, Cartel, Flogging Molly, Treaty of Paris, Atomic Tom, Paramore, Macklemore, Epica, Nightwish, MCR, Fall Out Boy, FreddeGredde, Halestorm, HEDD, Avantasia, Future Idiots, Neon Trees, Fozzy, Lil' Wayne, Ludacriss, DMX, Eminem, Hopsin, Tech Nyne, Saul Williams.

I am always finding new stuff. I also like listening to the radio, albeit it is a fairly repetitive experience.

No video games on here?! OkStupid, what's wrong with you? I'm more of a 90's era kind of guy, that leans slightly to the Nintendo side of the VidyaGame Spectrum. I own a Wii, 360 (which I solely bought for Sonic Generations), PS2, and a 3DS. I have a decently long list of favorite games, but CaveStory, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles, Pokemon, Psychonauts, Megaman X, Shinobi 3, and others immediately come to mind.

I also play EDH Magic; the Gathering and Kaijudo, because I'm that dorky. Not DnD though, or online MMOs, because that is just too much.

I'll eat or try just about anything. I love to cook! Food Network is amazing! Alton Brown is my hero!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends.
My mind.
My feelings.
My freedom.
My pride.
My memories.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
life, the universe, and everything; if I could make a living being a philosopher I would.

how awesome it would be to become a WWE superstar one day. "Dandy" Dan Anderson, player.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
finding SOMETHING to do, hopefully with friends; it's kind of hard to do that in Ohio.

That or WORKING.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I also was in a Jazz Choir in high-school, where you were one of 16 members, and had to dance/sing in completely choreographed numbers around the county. There is nothing better than a 6" 6" Swede in jazz flats and a sparkling vest trying to look natural.

I also own a cat. Yeah, a single dude owns a cat named Fido, that thinks its a dog. Well, at least its not 5 cats.
